Not with the NBA Social Media is huge considering most people will find out about the jerseys ON social media. Sure they will be on the news but most people will see them on whatever social media platform they see first.
I guess I just have to accept the fact that I will die before the Rockets get decent uniforms again. And this NBA "rule?" Is it a law? Was it passed by Congress and signed by a President? Is it codified in the U.S. Code? No? Then it is just policy and policy can be changed. If the owner had any guts he'd pull out the old logo and dare the NBA to do something about it. This roll-out reeks of cowardice, subservience, and a lack of imagination. We're never winning anything again with an organization that happily thinks this way. Effin' pinstripes? GTFO. That's what sent us on this stupid spiral. And for the love of God, someone please make a speech at my funeral that we got rid of the bleeding R. Even if it is not true, it will help me rest more peacefully.

Just the laziest sloppiest sh*t I’ve seen. Half assed excuse for a “rebrand.” It’s not a rebrand. It’s like the cheapest way of “refreshing” the brand and it shows. it reminds me of an amateur concept artists 10 min attempt at redesigning the brand but too lazy to create a new logo so they just slapped together everything from the franchises existence. Like something anyone can create in nba2k. You literally just threw all designs including the trash everyone begged to abandon for decades into a soup of piss and sh*t. Since 1996 they refuse to be subtle, classic and PROFESSIONAL. You know. Like that winning franchise on i10. Or like the two most iconic and winningest franchises in the nba? Rockets have been trying to go over the top since 96 trying SO hard to create something iconic and long lasting and the end result has been dated and clown like when we were already simple and iconic and exuded pure CLASS. Yet whoever has been in charge has refused to see that and i bet it’s why it’s taken this long to return to red and yellow so of course a franchise that hates its championship identity would recreate it in the most heinous way trying so hard to stray from what it was even still! It’s like all those crazy people in Hollywood who get to be in charge of recreating massive iconic IPs that they hate or don’t even like to turn into something NO ONE wants or asks for and when it doesn’t do well and the IP tanks - it’s the fans fault. Why is it so hard to just give the people what they want?!? What they showed up for and loved already? They were a major part in it becoming successful and iconic and they continually get shat on! And after 20 years the Rockets STILL can’t do a proper fkn RED!! Look at our championship jerseys. That’s a deep rich red that makes the SUBTLE yellow trim POP in contrast. Instead they keep using that light faded pink hued excuse for red!!! It looks AWFUL, man. I’m just so sick and tired and done with this clown franchise.
Thank you for mentioning this. The ketchup and mustard combination only really works with darker red, not the pinkish red they've gone with. Two very bright colors side by side is an eye sore and makes the brand look like it's for children 8 and under.
They keep trying to rehash and remix **** that failed over the past 20 years into one giant amalgamation of all said concepts, afraid to do any further damage to their lord and savior, dunkstronaunt, smh... We don't need the ketchup and mustard, with pinstripes, with dunkstronaunt, with bleeding R, to tell us a story about how failed these concepts are... Give us an actual rebrand or call it a "city edition" and leave us alone, barf.... Use your actual imagination and stop with the hybrids!!!

Honestly the black ones go hard with the much subtler lines, the unique red line, different colors for numbers, letters and the jumpman logo.
