Yeah, I once thought like that. Thankfully the Fertitta family bought the team and kept whittling away at my biased braindead allegiance to a team they don't give a damn about.

Now I can enjoy things.

A lot of Clutchfans would be much happier allowing themselves to acknowledge Dallas the city is much better than Houston, and so is the game day experience, for example.

I feel sorry for those still stuck in the 'Houston is my team, therefore screw everyone else' headspace. I was ride or die everything Houston for the first two decades of my fandom. Thank goodness I grew up and realised fangirling for a team and hating everything else which doesn't align to that, is just stupid. (no judgement for those who aren't there yet, whatsoever. Like I said it took me two decades to get to this point)

 

This was a war of attrition. Spurs defense dominated the game but they ran out of juice and couldn't keep it up the entire 2nd half. This is how the Knicks bolted ahead to that 8-point lead before running dry for about 7 straight possessions and giving it all back.

Then Brunson took over.

So many of the players were gassed or very close to it the last 5 mins. One of the things that makes Brunson great is he can hit shots even when he's dog tired.

Josh Hart's ability to rebound in traffic is amazing.

I'm not going to say KAT outplayed Victor, but I gotta give props to a guy I like to make fun of.

Harper was a stud in game 1 but it wasn't enough. Spurs should consider giving him some of Fox's minutes (or even Vassell's). Pecking order shouldn't matter in the Finals.
