Steph Curry won 4 titles with a defensive specialist, plus he can shoot and isn’t a turnover merchant. Of course you’d pick the bearded bum loser over him.
Would be great if the Rockets don't trade for him. I know we are going nowhere fast, but Giannis does nothing for us.
If Portland could be the third team then the Rockets should be the fourth team and try to get Scoot. He looked really good this past season and was reminding people why he’s a top 4 pick. I don’t think Portland is as high on him anymore.
This is our angle to get Brown. He makes no sense for Milwaukee who need to go scorched earth and rebuild.
Highly unlikely and I would hate it, but it could be done. Sengun, Reed, Adams, Both 27 picks, one of 29 picks to Bucks, Brown to us, Giannis to Boston. Bucks wouldn’t want KD (and KD would never agree to it), so it would have to be Sengun as the best player going out. We would then need to turn around and trade Kd for some semblance of a center and a pick. The Rockets aren’t a likely 3rd team in any trade of Giannis unless KD is involved.
Houston: Brown, Myles Turner Bucks: Sengun, Pritchard, White Celtics: Giannis and KD We get our # 1 option who is much younger than KD, and a C who can space the floor, rebound and defend. Bucks get several young pieces to start over. Celtics lose depth but gain a ridiculous big 3 to overcome the Knicks. If that trio stays healthy they make the finals next year.
Seems like a lateral move or even worse for the Rockets. Teams would double Brown and we have no one else that can get their own bucket.
Bucks will require picks as well. Sengun, Pritchard, and White with no draft picks going forward is not going to satisfy them. I like it for Houston as is, but if we have to give up the two 27 picks are you doing it?
Why give up KD? Wouldn’t you want to add Brown to KD in this instance so he can have some help offensively and some pressure off of him? Because in this instance his 2nd option would be Amen? Or Jabari?
It would be Amen, Brown, Tari, Jabari, Turner or sign or trade for a good sg and it would be Amen, SG, Brown, Jabari, Turner. That’s plenty of outside shooting and 3 guys that can create. Defense should be pretty good, although big centers would give us some issues. Brown’s not a great 3 pt shooter, but he is passable especially when wide open. I don’t really like Brown as a target, because of his contract and mediocre outside shooting, but this lineup would be better than we have now.
Which good SG? And what 3 guys that can create? I hope you’re not talking about Jabari when you say that. Amen at PG? Bro, c’mon Aside from Myles Turner, Jabari is the best shooter listed there is and he is average at best. And your 2nd option is Amen? seems like a 1st round exit, the remix
