He ran one of the most beautiful offenses you'll ever see. Hall of Famer yet still somehow underrated.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Rick Adelman. He was already one of my favorite coaches before he came to the Rockets and was so happy when he came here. That 2009 Rockets team was one of my favorite squads. They were a great cast of characters and you can tell they loved playing for Ruler Rick.
Adelman ball was a thing of a beauty with motion that flowed. With every player on the court getting involved. Adelman was also a great teacher and that showed in how players like Kyle Lowry really looked up to him.
My favorite Adelman memory was the first year he was coaching the Timberwolves and the Rockets were visiting Target Center. As soon as the buzzer sounded Kyle Lowry walked straight over to Adelman. Adelman put his arm around Lowry and walked off the court with him. That showed how much respect Lowry had and how much Adelman appreciated that.
It’s a sad day for basketball fans.

I never heard anything about how good a person he was. Wish I had. What made him such a good person?

RIP Rick. Thank you for all you did for the sport and for the Rockets.

FU NBA for doing everything you could to deny this man a championship. You should be ashamed of your biased, rigged and unethical product.

What a coach! RIP. The offense was so much fun to watch back then. Compared to this crap, that was beautiful.
