That's the thing. Jabari is so low profile nobody is making plans to bother him. No team is worrying about being beat by Jabari. He just quietly gets his 15 and 8 and nobody says positive or negative things. Chet gets embarrassed in the Spurs series and everybody is noticing. The big money he's going to make also doesn't help.
Nobody ever "makes plans" for Jabari. This doesn't stop him from failing, mainly because he is very limited and the book on defending him is very short.
I think it is crystal clear that the Media and a slew of fans want to oust Chet and even Cason, Lu etc out of OKC..... This is the time to see if Sam Presti does the Harden mistake again, or knows to keep the real important players going forward. I think Chet is on the brink personally, he can either rise to the occasion or wilt, one thing is for sure, this is probably crossroads for him, I am positive that he just needs MORE time, but crazier things have happened.
Lmao that is the game of hierarchy, do you think Horry won't get criticized, he would.....only if he does not deliver as a role player. They are not seen in the same tier yet, if Chet is bumped to 4th option like Jabari is....sure why not. Chet is asked to step up against maybe the future GOAT of all basketball and maybe future HOFer guards Castle and Harper. Jabari is only asked to play decently well against the Lakers which Chet was averaging 20 and 11 against.
That is another point I hate The NBA picks and chooses who gets to be "handsy" Last year OKC had it . .. this year the Spurs. I mean they sent a goon to spear a player and everyone shrugged it off Rocket River
I would contend that maybe Jabari is under utilized and under developed. In a different program he would be a different player Rocket River
This Chet and Jabari comparison makes no sense because it's Durant that's to be unloaded to acquire Holmgren?
