Morey has no patience waiting for young players to develop. He trades draft picks away. He gets rid of young players who don't pan out immediately. He chases superstars even when they are too old to be superstars.

Or maybe his analytics only give him information on how a player played in the past, not how they will play in the future.

Nah Stone has done a remarkable job for a 3 yr rebuild.

In the same 3 yrs Spurs who everyone is slobbering over now picked Keldon Johnson, Joshua Primo and Jeremy Sochan. Spurs just got gifted Wemby and Harper by the NBA as the new face of the franchise suddenly they look amazing. I dont even count Castle as they would have taken Reed who would prob make their team even more unstoppable with his shooting, and defense would prob be alright with Spurs dev staff.

 

Wemby is the new face of the league. They are going to be the team to beat as long as he is on the court.

 

My point is just that people act like the Spurs were some master FO that rebuilt their dynasty thru skill.

Bruh they got gifted Wemby and Harper by Silver now they look awesome. They wasted 3 lotto picks and traded for Fox on a max deal. Everybody already gives Stone **** for wasting low frps imagine busting on lotto picks.

If we had Wemby too Rockets would be in an even better position than the Spurs.

They just took out the team that had like a 90% chance of repeating at the start of the season and who had cooked every other team they faced leading up to San Antonio.

Wemby is the #1 reason they won.

It is what it is and now every other team is gonna be looking for their own Wemby to try to compete. League is gonna be nothing but giants very soon.

We as Rockets fans seem to think we are the only team that didn't get him. 29 other teams are saying "WTF?! We suck and why didn't the front office do more to change it." Well, there's only one Wemby to go around, just like there was only 1 LeBron, 1 Kobe, 1 Jordan, 1 Kareem, etc.
