He'd fit our system perfectly. He's an Ime-type player through and through—tough, physical, unselfish, plays elite defense, makes quick decisions, and doesn't need the ball in his hands to impact winning.

The kind of player every contender wants and every coach trusts. I'd love to see him in Houston.

I've always liked him but I'm not sure what draft capital I would give up for him. I think his potential is higher than he's gotten to show but I don't see a Brunson like rise happening honestly.

One 27 and one 29 pick? Oklahoma is hanging on to him anyway.

We should draft and develop guys like Cason Wallace instead of trading assets for him

OKC has potentially 3 FRPs in 2026 and 3 FRPs in 2027. They also have players who can not make their playoff rotation and who are solid NBA players. OKC is going to have a roster crunch in the very near future.

OKC might be looking to trade some FRPs out of the next two drafts.

OKC might be willing to move on from some of their young talent, like potentially Cason Wallace or Nikola Topić, since there are only be so many minutes of PT.

The Rockets might be able to exploit OKC's roster crunch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... via a trade, perhaps a multi-team trade. Unsure which current Rockets players would be a good fit for OKC.

Yeah but we’re so far behind we really need an ecosystem to get Cason Wallace and Ayo Dunsunmu types cheap before they breakout and get the big contract to bridge the gap.

I find it interesting that no one thinks Jabari for a young 2 way guard like Cason Wallace, VJ Edgecombe, Stephon Castle, or Scoot Henderson is a realistic trade and those teams don’t need him but at the same time his contract is great, every team wants him, and he’s definitely a future starter on a championship team that we have to keep and start.

He's a good mini ariza. I wanted him here for Jalen Green.

Ime would make him look bad. Havent seen 1 player get better under Udoka

How could anyone possibly watch us play and think what we need is another defensive role player who can't dribble or create offense?

I don’t agree. We have seen Jabari’s game develop thru 3 years with better ball handling, more drives, and improved shooting efficiency.

Amen’s range increased, ball handling improved, drives per game and fg% from drives have increased.

yeah I haven’t watched him a lot. I just have seen him play tough defense, shoot 3s, and drives when he has a lane. Not really explosive or big playmaker but great fundamentals. Better than bench guards we have now including Sheppard but not worth a max deal or 30 mil a year.

Cason Wallace or Ajay Mitchell would be nice
OKC have 3 picks this draft as well
    They have a roster crunch

They will give up Dort, Cason is OKC's future best perimeter defender, no way, they give up on him......

    This is some daydreaming.

Yeah, but they rather give up Hartenstein, Dort, Joe, McCain even before they give up Cason or Mitchell.

At least that is plausible. Giving up Cason and Mitchell is only second to giving up young Harden.

Would be close to risking your life in a car crash.

This is misleading.......they would move on from Wiggins and Joe, maybe but not Wallace and Mitchell.....

This is like asking the Rockets to part with Amen stat before Prime......which is not happening ......
