I said it before and I will say it again - Wemby just got done castrating Chet and also handing him his ass over and over.
Not even sure I'd do that at this point...I'm big on mentality...to only put up 2 shots in a game 7 and get like 3 rebounds despite being the 2nd tallest guy on the court is just inexcusable for me. Chet didn't look like an all-star this series, he looked like a role player, and a poor one at that. At least Jabari has turned into a pretty good role player and I know for damn sure Jabari would never have just 2 shots.Even when he was ice cold he was putting it up and we hated him for it lol. Chet looked scared, that worries me more than anything else, because I've seen players lose their confidence and never dig out of that hole.
Dont ever think that I have seen someone get punked like this by one player. Wemby went at Chet. Chet didnt even bother trying to guard Wemby - as he quickly becoming the next Shawn Bradley. What a bad contract situation - sucks for OKC.
Was Chet even a top 7 player for the Thunder this series? SGA, Jaylen Williams, Wallace, McCain, Mitchell, Caruso, and arguably Hartenstein were all better
I don't think they'll panic, but OKC fans have to be questioning whether they should sell "high" on Chet now. That series performance was nothing less than pathetic. Dude was straight up afraid -- of everyone.
