Other than OKC i dont think anyone in the west has a chance to beat SA in the foreseeable future.

I think the formula is simple. Get multiple 2 way players that can shoot the 3, handle, and drive. Have at least one dominant scorer. Get guys that can protect the paint.

Rockets issue is they have so many deficiencies besides the Sengun Amen shooting issue. They don’t have players that can handle and drive. Tari and Bari both have handling issues and they don’t have that burst off the dribble the way the Spurs and OKC guards and wings can. Sheppard can’t beat anyone off the dribble. So when Sengun and Durant are trapped our players have issues driving especially when teams try to run us off the line. It’s just flawed roster construction especially after the Durant trade which made this team less dynamic, slower, and more predictable.

 

I was wrong about Harper. It seems he doesn’t need a jumper to be effective. It would help but he’s so dang crafty around the basket that he can get buckets even without a jumper.

 

Rockets were down 3-0 and lost in embarrassing fashion to a Lakers team without Luka and without Reaves for 4 out of the 6 games

that same Lakers team got swept by OKC without J-Dub by an average of 16 ppg

now that OKC team is being taken to 7 games by San Antonio

if the Rockets are gonna gaslight me into being excited about the return of FVV and Adams like that’s actually gonna do something in the West, then I’m not going to any games at Toyota Center next season because they’re trying to play me for a fool

 

The ACL will heal but until then Fred won't be a huge deal.

 

Well, Kawhi and Uncle Dennis beat the Spurs with a medical issue.......and forced the Spurs to rebuild.

Fox is absolutely expendable. He’s not been good in the playoffs. He’s definitely “leading scorer on a lottery team “ quality. I’m super impressed with Harper.
