Told you this was going to be a 7-game series.

Well, had Wemby not made that 30 footer from the logo right away in Gm 1, it would have been over by now.

    • That is why teams that are rusty have a more than slight disadvantage even if they get several days more rest.
    • In a duel of the Titans, any minor disadvantage can cost you a Game.....

If OKC loses this series does SGA take a hit to his rep?

Dudes were comparing him to MJ and other all time greats for some reason and ready to crown this decade as his but he's been very meh this series. I get that the Spurs defense is elite but we've seen all time greats produce against elite defenses before.I feel like if they lose this series a lot of people are going to lean into the flopper thing.

Basically, if Wemby plays well the Spurs win.

The games they've (Spurs) lost, Wemby has struggled. I don't really feel SGA put a stamp on any of these games, mostly just him being part of the better team, for this series. That's not to say he's not a playoff performer, he clearly is, but the narrative around him should they lose I bet is going to shift over night.

It's not going to be fair to him but watch...I know NBA fans and NBA media, they are just waiting to pounce.

It should but people discount the finger hit against Phoenix, that they had to pop back the finger....

He was visibly not himself against the Lakers, we shall see in the Offseason.....but yeah at times he does not look 100%.

Whether he is just not that good in the Playoffs, easily game planned against, we shall see over a bigger sample size than that.

They have to play Wallace, this is the way, also a long term replacement for Dort.

Media hyped this up, but both teams are strongholds at home normally.

The firepower of SAS has been insane this season, why they won so many games, is it sustainable over the course of 3-5 years.......fascinating.

People are not going to care about any such injuries and are just going to say they got lucky thanks to Haliburton getting hurt until they win another ring.

On paper, they should be winning the championship this year and on paper should they get past the Spurs they should be beating the Knicks in 6 at most and going back to back.

I have no problem lol with saying SGA isn't the MVP postseason, the MVP is just a regular season award, I just think fairweather stans don't have it in mind all the time.

Right now OKC needs a durable 2nd Option which neither Chet and Ajay are at this point yet due to inconsistency and ability.....Dub is injured and has to figure it out.

Even a Jamal Murray like production would be enough....

Two things frustrate me to no end.

    1. After their run of titles with Duncan and subsequent down years, I assumed the Rockets would win a title before SA. Looking like I was wrong.

    2. There is a very realistic possibility that the Spurs have drafted three guys that all could end up better thsn ANY of the guys the Rockets have drafted in this rebuild.

Harper and Wemby sure. Castle is a goon. Closer to a PG Lu Dort.

We used to have jolly, friendly giants like Gheorghe Muresan, Yao Ming, Tacko Fall, Boban, etc.

Now we have a vicious, nasty, violent giant in Wemby. Dark days are ahead for the league.

If it's an Out, some OKC staffers would still be working.

The Foul Baiting Narrative has started. I expect him to start not getting calls
and probably find his productivity drop
    Which ends OKC's run

Once they decide to change the rules in the playoffs [unofficially] to remove someone's signature moves
    It's over
