Yeh.... im on the complete opposite end of the spectrum regarding Harden... lol There's no denying his immense talent... but I think he's toxic. Obviously he made us pertinent - but I also think he kept us from doing better... I liked him when he arrived... loved his whole pre-game ritual w CP and Lin... then it became about "cornerstones and roleplayers..." and "those thst matter dont mind and those that mind dont matter..." didnt want to work w D12... didnt want to listen to CP3... The Spurs elimination game was the most blatant idgaf performance i've ever seen - with no explanation... Dude was just outta control with the diva card... practices getting cancelled, not traveling with the team... Then the fat suit, disparaging the team in the interview, killing any potential leverage for us... I am beyond done with this dude... I view his tenure as a missed opportunity...

When Harden's assists number is low, it's a clear indicator he's not helping his team win. His shooting is up and down. But he's always good at playmaking. When he's not doing that, you know he's not in the game.
He is either easily checked out mentally or he is fatigued physically....nothing new or major. Great talent but that is what it was with him in the Offs......literally had to drag in CP3 to help him and then got the JayDub Hammy thing.
But that's just it. A true winner is never "not in the game". Leaders lead ...to the bitter end. So he's only a leader when it suits him? That's not leadership, that is selfish. And therein lies his biggest personality flaw. How does that old cliche go? When the going gets tough, the tough take a back seat and look for a way out.
He lost me after that Spurs elimination. Right before Manu blocked him, to me it felt like he didn't even want the ball like he was scared, not that he was out of gas. He's not really a killer, you never seen Dream run from the ball like that, Kobe would be yelling for that opportunity so he could put the dagger through your heart.
You always end up looking dumb when you bet/believe in Frauden. Also it was asinine to begin with to actually believe he was better than D Wade. At least Bev has the self awareness and takes accountability for a terrible take unlike the fanbois that spammed the eject button and went into hiding.
You're pissing into the wind when it comes to me and won't convince me of anything. I already told you his salary one of which made it to the ECF & beat a 1st seed. Way more than DFS and FVV did this year at their salaries. McGrady is one my favorite players ever. (Im guilty of liking a ton of different Rockets players) and he never scored a point in a playoff series in which he won. Harden has contributed to winning 17 series. It doesnt look like it will ever happen for Harden. I still appreciate the times I watched him. You can keep doing whatever it is youre doing. If that is what you enjoy have at it.
Or it's an indication that the team substantially undershot their expected FG% over a small sample size. I can't remember where but you used to be able to look up Potential Assists somewhere. I don't doubt they'd be down though. Part of the problem is the Knicks hit every shot for 3.25 games, that will make your offense much worse by allowing them to set all the time

it's not about harden for me either. i have had these conversations with tinman about Lin. rosalin about sheppard. dobrizzle about thompson. and bobbytheloser about jalen green. etc etc. when individuals on here. i find that particular persona interesting. spending countless hours of one's life posting/thinking about another man in that fashion intrigues me. carry on though, change the world!
