Yordan OPS+ of 202. His numbers are off the charts… https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/a/alvaryo01.shtml
We haven't been able to figure out Eovaldi since he was with the Red Sox. I think he took that blown ALCS game 4 against us personally.
astros rocked him the following season after the alcs game 4 meltdown but you're right. ever since he joined the rangers, it's tough af to figure him out. rangers definitely fixed him
While these are great, just to give you a sense of what Judge has done... What Yordan has done the last 2 months is still slightly below the average of what Judge has averaged the last 4 years, which is kind of insane. Yordan, of course, has been much better in the postseason.
Don’t understand sitting 1 of your 4 viable hitters (and really one of only 2 currently hitting well) in a game against a division opponent.
He hasn't had a day off in forever and the next 2 series are against much better teams. Division opponent doesn't matter much unless its the team that you're competing for the division with - and the Rangers aren't that. Going 0-8 the last two days gives him a nice opportunity to get a rest. Teams aren't ever going to treat games in May as must-win games.
It's a real problem that this lineup is so thin. The replacement level lineup filler shouldn't start with the cleanup hitter.
for the last game of the series, 7pm start is pretty late brewers is already in htown since yesterday.
