If Amen learns to shoot there's no way that trade is made. The Mobley type of players are easier to find than Amen type of guards/forwards.

I would consider the Sengun swap, an Amen swap just adds yet another power forward and removes speed from the lineup. It's not a good fit imo.

Sengun for Mobley makes more sense.

Did an Evan Mobley super PAC donate to CF or something? Or is this some bot driven psyop

he is not linked to the Rockets, he is not being traded to the Rockets, there are no rumors…this Evan Mobley obsession came out of nowhere

I think he disappointed in the playoffs so it's perceived that he could be available. A defensive-minded, switchable 5 with range is pretty ideal to pair with the best young core player (Amen) as well.

Mobley x Bari could be a suprisingly fun pairing.

Bari's contract offsets Mobley's hefty money.

Mobley is getting paid $50M next year...he's not a superstar or a player you can build your team around so that's a HELL NO

What a horrible contract. One of the worst values in the league.

ofc, I said that about Townes, too, and here he is going to the Finals with me desperately rooting for him

It’s just about fit. Sengun for a stretch 5. I’ve never been a big fan, but he is a good defensive player that shoots well from 3. He is overpaid, but the potential OKC and SA dynasties is putting a premium on Mobley’s archetype. Sengun is a bad fit in Cleveland so that trade would never happen without a third team. I think Cleveland has topped out and have little they can do to get over the hump without trading either Mitchell (which they won’t do) or Mobley. Most of clutchfans is bored, so dreamscaping trade scenarios is about the only thing left to talk about. The Rocket player or coach bashing has hit its apex, so what else is there to talk about?

LOL. I guess I’m the only one that has always hated the color scheme. If we have to keep Red, make it Black and Red. That “R” logo would great with a black background.

    Absolutely not.

You want Amen and Mobley together, here.

Did he disappoint, or did the Cavs as a whole? Mobley was probably their most consistent performer

Amen and Sengun had a worse playoffs than him, and they were facing AARP Lebron and scrubs

if Mobley’s available, it’s for Giannis…I don’t think the Cavs would even entertain Mobley for Sengun

Some say his contract makes him less of a valuable asset, but yeah, I'm not so sure.

Mobley is getting paid $55 million to be the same level of player as Amen while being a year and a half older and having two years' more NBA experience under his belt. He is what he is, an elite roleplayer who is getting paid like a superstar, and I seriously doubt he'll ever be more than that at this point.

If you want an elite defensive power forward just move Amen back off the ball and play him at the 4.

Short answer NO!!!! but I would do it before trading Alpi. We have the makings for a home grown big three with Alpi, Amen, & Reed, once they hit their primes if we have the right coach to maximize them.
