In a heartbeat ..I realize it might cost a little more. I know Mobley has the big contract, but he brings elite D (all over), and can stick it from deep. Obviously works on the block, but can face up too. Evan's exactly the kind of 5 we need. It sure would be nice to "right" this wrong.
Mobley just doesn’t have the motor and flair to dominate even though he has almost everything to do so. But the Cavs would surely hear offers for all of their players after the way they lost in the playoffs. They will likely let Harden go. Look for a market for Mitchell, and either Mobley or Jarrett Allen depending on the offers. Alpi plus pick(s) and filler contracts, they may consider this trade. If no one else, Max Strus would be a good Udoka roster player instead of Tari Eason next year.
Everybody wants to trash Sengun, then think they can trade him for all-star quality players? If that's so, it's not just Sengun, but who else are you offering along with Sengun. Figure that out first, then we can talk because a straight up swap ain't happening.
Figured it would probably cost a little more... Either Sengun, Tari and a late first or Sengun and a Suns pick.
Not sure that Mobley makes you better, just different. Post-KD you’re still going to need a primary scorer. Sengun is more capable of filling that role than Mobley.
How about Mobely for Alpi and Eason (S&T- not sure if rules allow it)? Would that be enough? I like Alpi but I am concerned that our coach does not know how to use him effectively. I would rather find new coach but since that is not happening this may be a decent option.
Would we trade a number 3 pick for a number 16 pick? Some of you here a ****ing brain dead with the dumb questions. Youre either an idiot or this is a thinly veiled hate Sengun thread lol.
I think Sengun brings more value overall but Mobley can fit really really well on a team with a star playmaker. Like if I had Luka or Cade on the roster I'd rather have Mobley. But we don't have any playmaker so Sengun fills the need way more.
Wish adelman or mike malone had Sengun under his wing. I still believe he can be something. His moves and flashes he protrayed just don’t go away. I also don’t know how he works out his offseason and drinks, girls etc. I assume not as publicized as the old harden rockets team… but he lives life.
I'd take Mobley. Even though straight up Sengun is prob the better player... I think Sengun could be the lead dog on a .500 team... but his skillset is hard to build a better team around...
Mobley is fairly redundant to Jabari and Amen. I don't think it would make us a better team. We would sorely be lacking a player that can playmake. But I do think Mobley has more trade value around the league, as he's more easy to plug in to any team than Sengun. I'd only do the trade if it meant we were making another trade for a playmaker.
Sengun runs through Mobley and Allen like they were stuck in mud. Spida, Sengun and Allen take out the Knicks. While in Houston, 40 wins and fickle fans look to trade their mothers searching for the 1st pick section that will never happen
I’m not sure but probably. I definitely think he works better with what we are trying to do, but I don’t know if he is better overall than Sengun and I think that Alpi has a higher potential ceiling, especially if a coach utilizes in the right way. also think that Mobley has the lower motor.
