The Griz just might get us in 7. Our franchise player can’t shoot or defend.

Harden on one leg and fat is a significantly better player than any of our young “core”

With the roster we ran against the Lakers, it isn’t far fetched. We can’t dribble, playmake or shoot.

JB will be 30 next season. Sure he’s a great player and if he was the missing piece for Houston to go contend, I’d be all for trading a boat load of assets for him. But I just don’t see JB, Amen and KD as better than what Minny has, let alone SA and OKC. I don’t think we are good enough for our all-in move to be for a 30yr old player. Like everything I guess it depends on what we’d have to give up. But I’d rather be focusing on players south of 30yrs old.

Gonna disagree with the all that... unless we talking about fat Harden on a vet min or MLE.

Be careful now, you mean Dickerson knows a little about basketball?

Yup and you just know it won’t matter how well FVV bounces back from injury, Ime and Raf will have him playing 36-38 minutes taking a dozen shots, most from 3 and it won’t matter if he shoots 28% or 40% from 3, Fred is going to be told to keep jacking off the KD kick out of a double or triple.
If I were Amen, I wouldn’t tell anyone but I would decide I’m going to lead the league in rebounding next year. He never needs to be more than 5 feet from the basket and with the Rockets, there will be lots of rebounded shots.

    Jalen Brown and Naamis Queta

    For

Sengun, Tari, Capela and 2 #1s

Houston do it to get a legit #2, possible #1 option and to improve their overall defense, plus add a LOB THREAT.

Boston do it to get younger, lessen their salary cap, and the ability to maneuver

Wouldn’t it be difficult to trade Eason since he’s a RFA?

I will say, I like the idea of including Queta in the deal if we are trading Sengun. He could definitely be our longterm Sengun replacement as more of a traditional rim protector. Not considering draft capital, Sengun + FVV for Brown + Queta works from a money perspective. Ideally, you then extend Queta and Eason.

    Amen / Brown / Durant / Smith / Queta
Sheppard / Eason / DFS / Adams or Capela

For the millionth time, sign and trade can not be aggregated in trades.

Would hard cap Boston at the first apron level. The opposite of being more maneuverable.

Also, the idea of a lob threat requires players who can throw a lob. Nobody on this team is particularly good at that.

Bottom line, Fred-Brown-Durant-Amen-Adams/Jabari isn't a championship contender. Still not enough shooting. And that's if they were healthy in the playoffs, which is pretty unlikely with the minutes they'd play and the likelihood of further injury.

    What about this trade guys?

First rd picks will be going to Celtics and Some Bucks.

    Clingan can be Sengun Replacement
Celtics get bag with Giannis and picks
Blazers get there new Center Around Deni Avdija, and Open up space Sharpe and Damian Lillard
Bucks will get picks plus Henderson + Jabari, Grant to start rebuild.

Rockets get White Clingan, Brown with Durant, and Amen. Seems like a win win.

When its all over rockets can still rebuild around Clingan, Amen, Reed, Eason etc..

Portland would laugh in your face. They are gunning for Brown themselves.
