Started The Burroughs yesterday. Watched 2 episodes. I like it so far. I would have binged all 8 episodes if my sons would have been down. Anyone else start it?
Is it better, or at least, different than Stranger Things? Just seems like the same type of show all over again
I can see where someone would say it’s close to the same. Monsters and bad guys… There are definitely differences though. I just got to episode 5 and things got crazy in a fun way. I’m trying to space it out a little. I think it’s worth the watch.
Going to start Tom Hanks's WWII documentary tonight. I've seen every possible WWII doc out there (I'm a history nerd) but Hanks has a pretty good track record, so....
Hacks Season 5 (Series Finale) was great! We'd give it a 9 / 10 for the full season. The ending was a little predictable though but good closure.
Widow’s Bay on apple. Really enjoying it. Almost Christopher Guest meets a slight horror vibe. Great acting, good plot, 35 minute episodes. Worth a watch for sure
Binged the first 5 episodes yesterday after the Astros game. Yeah, I really like it so far. Has the same feel of Stranger Things (likeable characters, just the right amount of humor) but it's different. Probably going to finish it off tonight. Wish it had more than 8 episodes.
Looks like they are working on future seasons. Saw a writer talking about it. I was a bit surprised (not shocked) with what needed to happen in the end. It’s not total chaos like Stranger Things but it’s fun.
Just watched the 1st season of Friends from College on Netflix. Pretty funny if you take it for what it is - a dumb satire. Not sure if I'll watch the 2nd season since I just read that it got cancelled and finishes with an unresolved cliffhanger at the end.
