Trade Loperfido for Kikuchi again. We get 1.5 years of him, and he hopefully helps get Imai acclimated and pitching up to his potential.

Imai just showed what he can do when his heads in the game! He was a part of a 3 pitcher no hit effort, with him accounting for 6 of those innings!

It is so sad that some people love being negative so much that they post back to back to back when an Astro struggles, then refuse to say anything when the same player has a historic night. Especially with an Alt account. But I’m sure you are just hoping for the best, right @Rocketsglare?
It's being a fan overreacting between bum/hero statement depending on days results . I watched game only afterwards(scores hidden) and was coming in my pants whole 9innings and the super wide smile on Yordan's face after homering was great to see. He must have been pressing lately and still think Joe should rest him now and then even when he himself would't want that. The whole no hit affair was just fabulous. Im not still convinced Imai is a stud. Getting guys out with just 2 pitches in a long run us is tall task. If the translations were correct earlier that Astros want him to throw more different pitches and he has fought against and that he wants to go more on his own strentghs than focusing on hitter weaknesses both are bit of red flags. But being biggest part in no hitter (allthough against horrible team) is good argument on his part . This said Im cheering for him because: 1. Jersey he's wearing. 2. Maybe helps us coming back from the horrible start. 3. We will get something for the money we gave him or he might opt out when doing better. Both are good options compared to what this deal looked like earlier in the season. I will admit gladly I was wrong about him if he can pitch like this going forward. Also it's possible that Astros and Imai get more on the same page and there will be some changes and he will be even better than this .
