It's pretty great, definitely not as long as BG3, and nowhere near as much freedom. As Clos4life mentioned, It's a pretty different game, so I wouldn't assume if you like BG3 you will like it. Combat is much more about QTE timing to properly dodge attacks, while gear/skill options are primarily about setting up massive damage builds for your characters. It really excels on music/art style, and overall story.

The most recent game that I've become low key addicted to is "Everything is Crab", it's basically a mix between Vampire Survivors and Spore (or for those who are old as ****, E.V.O. Search for Eden).

Love VS. I just bought EiC + Brotato on steam. Can't wait to try it. Only wish I had a steamdeck since I'm about to go on vacation.

Going to grab EIC tomorrow, it looks like something I would enjoy. It’s too bad it’s not multiplayer - my kids and I love throwing down some brotato with my Steam Deck docked on the tv.

It’s funny that I dropped $600+ on this beefy portable console and it ended up just being a stationary console that I play super low-powered low-res games on my tv.

I have found myself playing more of those types of games lately. It seems to me that AAA developers focus too much on graphics and ignore gameplay so the indie games have just been more fun recently.
