No way in hell Israel stops bombing in Lebanon. They are still killing civilians in Gaza. They can't even stop within 24 hours of a so called ceasefire. They are bombing cities left and right just like they did in Gaza. Every day they kill more civilians and blow up more homes, moving their line further and further.

What are we spending billions upon billions for again? SMH at this mess Trump and his stupid ass Secretary of Defense got us in, with Bibi urging them on, depleting our weapons and billions of dollars for a bombing campaign that should have never started to begin with. All they did was drive up inflation around the world and make us bigger threats of retaliation in the future. Bombing a school of girls isn't exactly anything that Iranians will forget.

I’ll wait to see what the agreement actually is. But, if all we get out of this is an agreement to keep talking about uranium, then this is a complete failure.

 

To put this into perspective this would be like if the Spurs player development coaches randomly came to Houston and hung out with the team and then next season Amen Thompson and Sengun randomly started shooting 3’s at 40%, Ime became an offensive mastermind coach, and Reed Sheppard became a defensive player of the year candidate.

Today, he says time is on our side, the blockade will remain in full force until a deal is reached, and they won't rush into a deal.

Also, he is flooding his Truth Social with pics and Al generated memes today, because he is sooooo busy in war negotiations. Photos saying Trump Looks Younger, China Loves Trump, more pics of him in China praising Xi, and other bizarre stuff as usual. It's so ironic, because the old man isn't looking and acting younger, and he used to say stuff like "China loves Joe Biden" or that China would "love a Biden presidency" on his campaign trail.

 

If there is a peace deal that isn't a total capitulation by Trump before Trump is out of office without a ****-ton more violence and bodies on both sides, and a crime or two against humanity I'll be shocked.

I know most resonable people hear Trump talking like a deal is coming tomorrow, and know it for the bullshit it is, but that natutally makes you assume a deal in weeks or months, instead of days or weeks, is the reasonable alternative.

Based on the Iranian current position and goals, and history of frozen conflicts I think we are collectively severely underestimating how long this will remain frozen and drawn out, unless the US capitulates, puts boots on the ground, or does something drastic like use nukes.

The sooner a deal comes, the shittier the deal will be for the USA, because a couple of weeks of "shock and awe" dropping bombs didn't break the guys who were willing to send mass waves of their own school-age children on suicidal human wave attacks in the Iran/Iraq war. Who could have possible seen that coming?

 

Obama should write a book called “the Art of a better deal”.
