Hollywood punts out trash constantly. The idea "Hollywood would safeguard LOTR" is just bonkers. Look at the Hobbit trilogy.. look at Rings of Power.. nobody stopped those dumpster fires. The vast majority of movies made are dreadful.. "Hollywood" isn't safeguarding anything.
