He isn’t much of a hitter.

 

With the upcoming work stoppage, I suspect the players will push to scrap the entire “challenge” system and just get the call right.

 

here's what i found according to baseballsavant

Cam and Altuve lead the team with challenges at 13.

Cam - Won 6 Lost 7
Altuve - Won 9 Lost 4

After Cam and Altuve, the 2nd behind them are Paredes and Walker both at 5.

So yes, Cam is challenging way too much and not amazing at it.
