Why does he need to? He has proved a point. You can shut off 40% of the worlds oil supply (or whatever number it is) and show the rest of the world has become so incompetent they can't do anything without the US spoon feeding them through the whole process.

The US caused the problem to begin with. They didn't spoon feed that problem. They force fed them.

In this conflict Tha U.S. and Israel are the bad guys. They started the war when neither was under any kind of imminent threat and it could have been avoided peacefully

Irrelevant. Yes, Trump and the Jews are the bad guys as usual. That doesn't fix the problem.

The problem is the rest of the world leaves it up to the US to fix all the problems. When the US breaks something (regardless of who), the rest of the world is nowhere near to help. We really don't need to fix this. We have plenty of natural resources. Now sure, some of you lazy ass people who door dash every meal, you might have to cut back some. $25.00 lunches everyday when you can't afford a house is stupid.

SG once criticized identity politics. Now he's drowning in them. Either covid changed him, or he was never being honest to begin with.

The rest of the world and most Americans are like: Please God, don’t touch anything. Go hibernate somewhere. Crap, there goes that idiot again, trying to fix things.

Ehh I have met quite a few wicked people in Europe. Far less acceptance of multi culturalism and lots of empathy for extremist political positions.

The older I get and the more that I have spent long periods of time in different places, the more I realize how many people are accepting or can be influenced into supporting of destructive and nasty social positions.

It wasn’t unique to Nazi Germany or the Soviet era - or Victorian England.

Sometimes something as simple as boredom and unmet expectations is enough… sometimes it takes breadlines and someone tell you it’s someone else’s fault.

Tribalism isn't anything new in the human condition. Oddly enough, the Bible actually puts this on God himself in the Tower of Babel story. Basically ancient humans were advancing too much as a civilization because they were working in unity so in order to not have a rival, God created language barriers in order to create tribalism which made humans fight amongst themselves so they never evolved enough to rival God.

Pretty crazy story that somehow didn't get whitewashed by Martin Luther.

But yeah tribalism has been with us forever, and will continue to be a thing at least for my lifetime I'm sure.

Put the Bible aside though for a moment....

Wondering if the Strait is open yet??

$4.20 gas this morning. When is Daddy Trump going to bring it back down to $2 a gallon that he promised?

People are myopic/self centered by nature. I thought the internet and unlimited info would change that and for a while it was moving in the right direction. However with the sheer amount of data and the advent of algorithms and people figuring out how to take advantage of those algorithms, it's moving back to to tribalism and prisoners dilemma.

What's worse is that the bad people like pedos now find it easier to connect and normalize crap behavior.

Is your issue that other nations aren't able to solve problems needlessly created by the United States of America?

And you're take is that the United States should be upset about the other nations not solving the problems caused by the United States?

Tulsi Gabbard Is Preparing to Resign as U.S. Intelligence Chief
Outspoken critic of foreign interventions had largely been sidelined from Trump’s national-security team

    https://www.cnn.com/2026/05/22/politics/tulsi-gabbard-resigns

“Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026,” she wrote in a letter President Donald Trump. “My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.”

We do.... but it takes quite a few years to do so. It took more than a decade to develop it's rare earth mining and processing and that was with the CCP directing the economy to do so and without much regard for profits or the environment.
