Prob speaker fees for some quick cash, but as for women I don’t know. Likely pure aggression. He still can own a room and podcast, which is how he was so far ahead of the other teen actors back in the day, he stood out, but if you don’t bring some charisma as an adult it wears thin fast and that’s when the career light dissipated.
i highly doubt he is worth even 1 million or even half a million. he is riding on the coattails of his childhood celebrity and able to parlay that into a modest living doing conventions, playing music to curious onlookers, slammin' middle-aged hoes/MILFS, ect. ive always thought he might be the greatest child actor ever. he was really good actor as a kid. its sad what happened to him. got eaten alive by the industry. corey haim too, who unfortunately didnt make it out. they were both sexually assaulted and turned into hardcore drug addicts by powerful people in the industry. if he had been properly cared for by the industry he could have been what leonardo dicaprio ended up being. he is definitely goofy (especially his music), but ive seen him speak very eloquently about drug addiction and the costs of fame at such a young age. i dont think he is a dumb guy. i used to review submissions for SXSW back in the early 2000's. i was basically one of the people who filtered out 80% of the stuff before it got to the actual decision-makers. i got corey feldman in my box in 2002 or so. most bands would send a cd, one or two page press packet and a photo or two. but CF submitted an inch thick press packet with a dozen glossy photos, one of which was him sitting on a chair in an empty apartment with his shirt unbuttoned and a single nipple exposed. the album was called "former child actor" and was bad nu-metal. i gave him a 10-out-of-10, but he didnt get in.
I guess royalties from movies don't pay much because how many times do they replay an old movie. I haven't seen Lost Boys in a while
Fascinating. The insanely diverse cast of characters is why I keep coming back to CF. Do you do weddings?
Well at one point he had a lot of money from his early movies. Probably between 10-20 million. His advisors choose larger paydays but limited residuals. He was receiving a good amount of interest off that money and could have lived off of just that. However he had some poor business investments and over time spent all of that money and his ex wife took some. Now he makes money signing at conventions- he can go literally every weekend around the country and sign for money. At this point he gets an appearance fee and a portion of every autograph ticket purchased. He also will give speeches, appear at parties and do social media stuff for money. That stuff adds up. His music gigs pay less, but it keeps his name in the news. He deserves a lot of credit for not just becoming a burnout- he is making a living and living a scaled down version of a Hollywood lifestyle. We have helped guys like him manage/generate money before. For example, where I live is Bears country. We have a couple former 85 Bears players that get a small pension and either don’t want to or physically cannot work… but they still make 6 figures because we get them out to conventions, car dealerships— new liquor store openings etc. they work about 10-15 hours a week and walk with $200,000 a year or more. That doesn’t count people that give them money (yes people will give them money or offer them easy jobs) or free things. I am not sure why Feldman doesn’t act more- he was an excellent child actor and there is always a spot for recognizable stars from the past in lower budget films.
I was hoping someone would have posted videos of his band by now. I guess if you want something done right....
This video takes me back to that time when Eminem started hating on Moby publicly for no discernable reason. Washed or not, Feldman is still a recognizable celebrity, so that will always attract a certain brand of woman. Same like Ric Flair who still finds women who want to take a ride on Space Mountain even though he's a dinosaur with yellow teeth and a bad liver.
Funny. Here we are 24 years later and a cursory Google search shows me that EDM ('techno') has overtaken Rap in terms of global revenue. Who too old now, Marshall?
I always thought she was attractive obviously but never understood this type of reaction. Us black guys were more into Peggy Lost Boys always makes me think of Jami Gertz, I found her incredibly sexy even as a b**** on Square Pegs
I'm white af but my buddies and I acknowledged that Peggy could get it. Kelly just seemed high maintenance.
