Giannis is not scared of bullying that same can't be said of Sengun. When I read the most overrated player in the NBA polling NBA players, I couldn't agree more. He lost a lot of points not shooing accurate FTs and he only plays hard when he wants to- Durant is similar in that way he want to commit his agenda, or just let teams die.

The Rockets were back in the playoffs this year because they drafted enough young players over the last 4 years to elevate the team. Trading Harden and having a few horrible seasons netted these draft picks. Under Morey the Rockets regularly traded away their future to bring in over-rated stars that could carry the team. That’s a fact.

Fast forward. The Rockets have a decent but not great team. Segun isn’t Jokic but then again, neither were top 15 picks. Sometimes it takes a little luck. Some teams have better scouts. Some have GM’s that know how to acquire picks and evaluate talent. I would say OKC has the latter. SA is right behind them.

The Rockets? Well, they’re still swinging for the fences while trying to incorporate some young talent. If they give up any picks to bring in Giannis, they will be back to square one. No championship with no foreseeable future drafts picks.

Giannis, Smith, Kd, Tari, Sheppard is my 5. After that, add depth size and some shooting. 3 yr window, when its over, its over.

You'd be lucky if three of those five guys are healthy comes playoffs time.

Winning a title takes some luck. Do okc win last yr if Halliburton doesn't go down? What about Toronto vs GSW? GSW probably win if they had Klay. I would just play KD and Giannis 30 minutes a night during the regular season. With Giannis and KD, you don't have to play either major minutes in regular season and they take the load off each other. Tari is a risk health wise, but in that lineup, he's the do it all jyd type guy needed. I think Reed playing off Giannis and KD would create a big jump for him.

Our bench is god dam awful. Going all in on giannis is stupid and reactionary to poor drafting/team composition.

We will have to trade a high amount of assets and players to get giannis. Our team comp will then be old starting 5 with a sht bench and a coach that plays heavy mins on vets.

    That's recipe for disaster.

We need to trade Sengun. But not for Giannis.

Miami can have him if this is their offer. Christ, I don't think their good enough to get out of the East if they do that.

That move will set them back for the next 8 years.

So we should get lucky and get a # 1 pick in a draft with the best player in many years? And then get lucky again and get the # 2 pick in a very strong draft and draft another no brainer pick in Harper?

Love that plan I’ll take the # 1 or # 2 pick this year please.

    Question on trades.

Are they not allowed to announce anything until the Finals are over?

i looked this up yesterday. If your season is over, you can start trading. Only teams that can’t trade right now are SA, OKC, Cleveland, and New York

im honestly excited for Giannis to get moved as soon as possible so we don’t have to bear the fake media drama of “Giannis watch” all summer. No way Riley pays the price that is being rumored; Giannis is going to be able to steer where he goes and that will lessen the return Milwaukee gets. There really aren’t many options. It’s basically Knicks or Heat. I don’t think the Knicks have any picks left, so Heat by default.

All of the Houston dreamcasting around Giannis is really dumb. The guy actually has to want to come here. It’s not happening. It was never happening.

I dont think hes the answer, with that team they built around him the bucks were just 17-19 when
    he was on the court.

If that's going to happen, I want to see if we can get in on that trade as a third team. Ideally I'd like to pry Ware out of the trade somehow. That would probably require Sengun going out, and Milwaukee sending us Herro and Ware. That would depend on how much Milwaukee likes him I suppose.

Please let Miami make that deal so Giannis is no longer available and we don't have to worry about a desperate Stone and Ime giving away any semblance of a future in a futile attempt to improve the team and save their jobs.
