Trade for Kyrie

If the Rockets trade for Kyrie, I think it’s to add to KD not for KD. Massively stupid move.

 

I don’t hate the idea of trading for Kyrie, but anyone who wants to include Reed should be committed.

FVV, DFS, and a FRP is the most I would do.

 

Let's just keep adding all of my least favorite players in the NBA to my favorite team. Also, the KD/Kyrie combo worked so well in Brooklyn when they were 5 years younger.

 

FVV & DFS for Kyrie is all I am offering.

 

Absolutely should not be offering any draft capital for Kyrie. Would be going the opposite direction of where we need to head.

 

34 yr old Kyrie coming off ACL. We just gonna dig the hole deeper with these win-now vets. His contract sucks. I knew Stone was gonna get desperate. Masai gonna fleece us.

Stone will send off Reed and say I am doing him a favor for his career.

I’d do that trade also. Where do we sign. Basically Fred for Kyrie (I’d do some heavy protections on the pick otherwise no deal)

 

If they didn’t get hurt they walk to a championship that year.

that is an impressive looking lineup. They’d be in win now mode, since Kyrie and Durant are nearing the end of their careers.

 

They probably would like their 2029 pick back.

 

Its tough to have a good conversation... A lot of the posters think our players are a poo-poo platter, but that isn't the case... our players have value above their salaries... its just not a balanced roster and no one has stepped up from the younger core to become the A-1 option. 2nd round playoff team when healthy. I am trying to be patient about the roster. I do agree with the posters who don't trust Stone and/or Udoka... I don't see either of them making this roster a true contender. As a fan, I am optimistic. I like the young core and hope we can balance out the roster over the next season or two and find or develop an A-1 option.

 

I wouldn’t mind it if it means getting rid of Fred and DFS. He has two seasons left on his contract, with a player option in the second year. I still think we need to draft another point guard, because Kyrie will likely be load-managing most of the season. With all that said... we are basically becoming the Nets. This won’t make us a contender, a soft rebuild is needed but Ime and Stone trying to save their jobs rn.

 

I'm not sure which year you're referring to, because they always get hurt.
