Every team in the league would take Dylan Harper and his 2 way potential over Sengun. It is what it is. I doubt there’s a GM out there that would take Sengun over Harper if given the choice.

Lol. Yes he could, take two steps to get around and then in front of him = Yao completely shut down.

Hard to do anything against a big when you're parading as a guard on the perimeter for 95% of every game. DIDDLY

Did you just blatantly ignore that fact, or don't understand what you watch on the basketball court? I don't know what's worse.

This all started when he stopped whispering to the ball.

He was cooking Wemby. Exhibit A

If Yao was young in 2026 he would weigh less and be draining 3’s. Poor Yao was driven into the ground by China and JVG and was just too heavy.

I keep seeing people on this board wanting Sengun to be traded. The only question I have is if that happens who will play center for us and would that player be an upgrade?

We need a different type of 5. A guy long and athletic..that can swat shots and hit the three...
As tough as that might be to find, Sengun's a much rarer bird.

I wouldn't trade Sengun unless its for a clear upgrade (superstar regardless of position) or an offer the Rockets couldn't refuse. I think Sengun has the chance to have a big bounce back year.

It just feels like Stone has players he doubles down on Tate, Jalen Green, KPJ, and Reed Sheppard come to mind initially because those seem to be "his guys" that he picked or found, even David Nwaba at the earlier part of his stint. It also feels like he has constantly not loved Sengun because the rumors continue that it was more of a Witus pick.

I fear we have a GM who doubles down on his beliefs and so far it HAS NOT worked.

Say what you will about Sengun, he actually has been one of the best centers against Wemby. Wemby doesn't like banging. Of course, haters love stats, blah blah blah, but here is his head-to-head against Wemby. Sengun holds his own against the skinny freak.

Chet in theory should be a great matchup against Wemby.

    Chet looks AWFUL.

Takes a lot of different looks to guard Wemby and all you can do is limit him some.

Don't you dare introduce common sense into the equation for these low IQ 'fans'.

I went from **** him on draft night, to **** him and the Spurs 4 life after his rookie year, to I gotta see this mfer in person this year.. He can go down as the best big ever IMO.. Add the fact that they hijacked Fox ( my personal favorite current player to follow ) and it hurts to watch Spurs game while secretly cheering for the Ws...

As far as the topic, man please! Sengun has peaked and it's vitally healthy for your mental mindset to admit it ..

People are fooling themselves that Giannis is effectively healthy for a full 30 somewhat Postseason games.

How did this Giannis is a Wemby stopper come about anyways?

Probably one of the only guys to have some success against the best basketball prospect ever but of course it's not enough for you miserable freaks lol

Giannis is better now not by a whole lot offensively but his brand of basketball does not work against the Spurs or Thunder with swarms of defenders.

Well, we might find out, but he is also almost 32 so not getting any younger.
