Down 2 with 90 seconds left in Game 7, which all-time great do you trust least?

It's a long offseason, we can talk about this one for a while.......maybe it's not a GARM topic for some but also I feel like the debate involves one of the greatest Rockets of all time(and it's definitely not Hakeem).

So I'll leave it at “Down 2 with 90 seconds left in Game 7, which all-time great do you trust least?”

My vote is for Harden and it has pained me as a fan to experience that one too many times so watching him do that to a Cleveland fanbase was tough to watch.

The irony for me is Karl Malone feels like he would be on the short list as well - but he also happened to one of the players that prevented Houston from achieving more in the Western Conference.

Scottie Pippen (the most overrated player of all time)

I believe Russ is one of the worst of all time (the worst?) statistically (by eFG%). If he doesn't qualify as a superstar, then you can replace him with the next 2 on the list (Harden and Kobe).

There was a 2010s analysis statistically of the most clutch, and Al Horford lead the way (followed by Bosh, Giannis and Chef Curry). Russ was the only MVP who featured in their bottom 10

Robert Horry. It’s 2026. He’d be completely dependent on another player to make the play for him and for the other team to be dumb enough to leave him open.

The speed and athleticism is different now, he wouldn’t be able to dribble at all, any Spurs or OKC player would just take the ball from him and take off. Now we’re down 4.

I don’t think Horry qualifies as an all time great.

Yeah - AI told me Russ and Embid should be on the list. What is always puzzling to me is Westbrook would go out the same way he came in - brazenly playing as aggressively as possible but Harden would have these moments where he would turn so passive suddenly when his team needed him most. It was almost like he was scared of commitment and when the team needed him the most he bailed immediately.

Westbrick! God I hated having him on our team. Those were dark days.

You know what I frequently wonder? What would have happened if, instead of trading away CP3 with all of those picks for Westbrook, we traded both Harden and CP3 for picks and began our rebuild a year sooner. Maybe we'd have drafted Ant or LaMelo. Of course, we may have drafted James Wiseman too.

I still have sad memories of Chucky hugging and high fiving in the final seconds of the playoffs before missing his clutch FTs...

90 seconds, if math is correct that is 1:30 minutes....

That is a lot in a tight basketball game.

    Wasn't there a 13 in 33 seconds?

Harden. Either will be a turnover or he will try to flop shooting a three.
