The fact you are trying to compare Wemby and Sengun shows how special you and the rest of the haters are. No one thinks Sengun is better than Wemby, surely?

Wemby is a lot better than most of the league...its obvious and not debatable. Op says Sengun never stands a chance against Wemby but ignores stats and prior matchups. Actual and factual history isnt flawed.

If Sengun was as bad as all you haters say, why is he a 2 time all-star and comanding double teams and triple teams in the playoffs already?

Ahh Sengun cant average 30/15/5 in the playoffs against constant double coverage...blah blah blah. Where was KD? Why isnt he the scapegoat here? This is a rockets forum, constant ignorant hate against one player gets tiring. Everyone wants this team to do well (or I would hope so) and take those next couple of steps.

Does anyone stand a chance against Wemby?

When he hits his prime the only chance anyone has is injury.

Bro is hitting clutch 3 pointers like its nothing. It's just absurd.

Did pretty good against him in this game...

To me Reed Sheppard is a key factor, if he gets going, there no stoping Rockets team.

    We seen this before.

If Rockets Have Fred, Adams, and better bench, maybe things would look whole lot different.

What double coverage? He got shut down 1 on 1 by scrub tier players. Imagine ranting all of that like it's still 2024, Sengun regressed.

Perhaps he breaks the trend but history but indicates he has a short career.

Sengun was an all star in 2025 and 2026, good try at deflecting though. Again, if he was no good why would he be mentioned in packages for superstars? Be logical, don't let the hate control you! Do you even watch the Rockets? Probably just here to hate, which is sad bro! Look at the stats others have posted

Sengun had a bad year. But who isn’t getting owned by Wemby? Hes a freak. So do you just give up for the next 20 years unless there’s another alien prospect? This is life, guys. You can’t stack the deck. You get lucky sometimes. Sometimes you don’t. But we have good players and Sengun has played Wemby and Gobert very well in the past. I think we are about to see the “Wemby Rules” develop. He’s too skinny to be getting that close to the rim. Guys have to do their work early in the shot clock and dig more from the helper. Letting him get so close he literally just turns around and dunks is a terrible defensive strategy. But a strong, but mobile big on him and throw his ass back out to the perimeter.
I hope he continues to hit his outside shot so he doesn’t further develop his inside game. He’s a lot easier to guard on the perimeter than 3 feet from the basket…

NBA players don’t like to be punked. This is where I see more hard fouls coming his way.

Sengün, OG, Mitchell Robinson are among a few selected that can actually give Wemby problems......

But Wemby is gradually adjusting. I hate that the League is starting to protect him and give him the long leash on suspensions.

But Sengun is even getting owned by Ayton.

In like 2 games. He looked lost and dead out there. Ayton didn’t own him. Sengun played poorly. Ayton didn’t play great. Sengun still has far more skill than Ayton. One series does not define a player. Any player.

If you are watching the playoffs and think Sengun is anywhere near the same level as Wemby, bless your heart.

Sengun's game is going to age well. One good season does not make a career.

He still won't dream shake like Hakeem, or shanghai shake like Yao.

Houston fans have that for themselves.

Other than perhaps Jordan, I have never liked the other GOATs stylistically. Notably Skyhook and LBron.

Dillon Brooks is the only one that can guard Victor. Which is sad.
