This talk of "two windows"... we don't have two windows or two timelines or whatever. We currently have none. When 30-something, post-serious-injury Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams come back, we will still be a first or maybe if we're very lucky on health, a second round exit. At least once that happens we might finally see some change to the front office and coaching staff.

Until this team can properly space and shoot, there is everything to complain about.

We have seen a lot of **** basketball over the last two years. Clap clap play harder, ISO ball, and transition opportunism will not take you deep in the playoffs (ask the Pistons). Personnel matchups, offensive versatility, and counters require brainpower that we have yet to see at any level.

It's wild to me that people want this. He'll be 33, right? He's often injured. And he can't shoot either. So we're replacing one guy who can't shoot and can't fit with Amen with another guy who can't shoot and can't fit with Amen? We'll have to trade Amen too if we go that route. I just don't see him coexisting with these guys.

I'll be honest - I can't watch this team with Durant and Giannis. I hate both of those guys. It was hard enough watching this season with just Durant. And especially after hearing Myles Turner talking about how Giannis shows up hours late to team flights. What a selfish, inconsiderate prick.

The Rockets straight up depress me right now.

Look - just keep building, sometimes you add that missing piece and it all comes together, that Mario Elie or Shane Battier type.

The Rockets need a creator on the bounce and shooting, maybe find that in Free Agency or trade.

With Ime the slow slog will prevail. Meanwhile, we're wasting the athleticism of the young guys.

If "window" means contending, then there's no window, let alone two windows. Stop that fantasy. It's the FO and ownership talking up to keep their fans hope.

KD + Giannis aren't making this team contender assuming we have to sell our future to get Giannis.

I am okay to give one more year to the young guys to see who we want to keep long term. I still have a small hope for Amen and an even smaller hope for Sengun. I have been a Sengun fan since his rookie year. But my faith is fading. He doesn't fit with Amen and doesn't fit with Reed. He has two glaring weaknesses (defense and shooting on offense) that is hard to build around.

Ime is the kind of coach that can give you decent regular season records. But you have to give him exceedingly great talents to contend in the playoffs.

I would add Grimes and KPJ back, trade Tari eason in a S&T for Grimes.....sign KPJ for DFS (LOL maybe).

    Jettison the following:

    Capela - $6.7m
    DFS - $12.7m
    Tari - $5.7m
    Crawford - $Min
    Davison - $2.3m
    Green - $2.3m
    Newton - $Min
    Tate - $2.3m

    ----------------------------------

That is $32m in salary to bring in KPJ and Grimes......

They can all be flipped or dumped......and bring in Grimes, KPJ, and a center that can shoot 3pt shots at a decent clip (Like a landale)....

If you think about it, the only constant is Ime Udoka is a better Mark Jackson.

They have a 38 year old Durant
    They never found their Curry.
    They never found their Klay
    They never found their Draymond.
They never found their Steve Kerr.
They never found their Bob Myers.
    The list goes on.......

That is exactly what the front office is doing. It is gas lighting- and Stone will do it until he eventually loses his job, but in the interim he will do everything possible to distract. Fans will believe it because they want to believe it and it’s hard to accept after years of being terrible and being told how great the core will be, that it is ultimately just mediocre.

I won’t trade Harden - KPJ is an amazing young man with a great future- Nix is like a lottery pick - wait until Oladipo is healthy… Green is going to be special… Christian Wood has special ability … Shame on you … No one who we would have so many injuries… It just isn’t our year… don’t judge me until 2030… Eric Gordon wants to be here … John Wall is great for the young guys…We have so many assets.

It doesn’t matter. The Bucks let it be known that they aren’t trading Giannis for Sengun - he would be a start but they would want a lot more.

Rockets aren’t good enough to sell their future for Giannis. Even with Giannis, they lose in round 2 if everything goes well.

Rockets need to accumulate as much draft capital they can and move young guys they don’t think are special. Digging up Jerry West to replace Attorney Stone would help too.

KPJ is a decent player now. But agree that we should stay away from vermin. I’d love to go get Ryan Rollins though.

I’m fine holding onto Reed, Sengun, Bari and Amen for another season to see if they can all take major leaps. Because in all honestly we are going nowhere next season anyway. If someone makes us a godfather offer, of course u may have to pull the trigger. But otherwise, I just don’t see the upside on selling any of these guys at a discount vs seeing if they can break out next season. I feel this way in large part because I don’t think Stone or Ime will truly consider any type of “reset”. I guess I’m so beaten down that “do no harm” has become the bar for me.
