I’m still unsure about Reed’s value in an iso heavy offense. Fit is as much of a concern as skill. Curry came into a way different situation and the offense they ran suited his talent.

lol when a player puts up 28/13/11, the occasional high TO game is expected. Castle is a 17/7/5 guy. Games of 11 and 10 TOs in a single season for a role player like that is crazy.
11 TO games don’t happen? You don’t even know what you’re talking about lol. Jason Kidd has multiple games with 11+ TO, Harden has multiple, Giannis has a 12 TO game, D Wade, Iverson, Gil Arenas, Lebron, Pippen, Paul Pierce all have 11+ TO games.

If 2 “non shooters” like Stephon Castle and Amen Thompson could never work than we should trade Reed Sheppard. If he isn’t a good enough movement shooter and passer to make a lineup with Reed Sheppard, Stephon Castle, and Amen Thompson work than his defense will never be worth the trade off.
Dude, what are you talking about? The point is they rarely happen. Every night in the regular season, guys put up similar lines to Sheppard’s 4/19. It’s a regular occurrence. Literally not a single player had a 11 TOs or more game this regular season. 1230 games this season, and not a single player had more than 10 TOs in any of them. And all the guys you mentioned were stars who ran the offense or were the centerpoint of the offense - it’s ridiculous for a third/fourth option like Castle to have two 10+ TOs games twice in a season.
Go grab that goalpost and bring it back. First it was “11 TO games do not happen”,” now it’s “they rarely happen.” My point was simply that 11+ TO games absolutely do happen, and multiple great players have had them.
Would be funny to see Reed play with Wemby and build an offense around those two. Reed would probably drag defenders away from the basket and Wemby would get even more free points than he already gets.

He's a youngster, mixed bag. I dont think he sucks but he doesnt seem like a franchise player either. Quite disappointing that a shtty pg like fvv coming back from a serious injury is still gonna b the starting pg over reed.
