One to move him to the 3 pt line - KAT, Jokic
One to play him straight up - Mitchell Robinson
One to steal the ball and harass - OG Anunoby

OKC/San Antonio are going to be in charge of the Western Conference for a little bit, but the CBA makes it very punitive trying to keep a talented team with several max players together. Looking at their payrolls coming up, both teams are going to have to make changes at some point.

I don't expect any of that to stop them before KD retires or at least stops being an All-NBA caliber player. Which is why we should trade him immediately to whichever Eastern Conference team will pay us something decent and wants to have a puncher's chance in the Finals.

Injuries will - no player 7'3" or taller has had a long career.

You have to start somewhere, if you go by minutes, Wemby only plays 28-29 minutes per game.

That is virtually not much......you have to force him to fatigue and move him around. Rough him up.

What is your suggestion? What is so different from last year when Spurs only won 30 plus games?

Everyone on their team made a jump for sure .....did the defensive scheme work last year or didn't they work?
Did Mitch Johnson just became that much better or is Dylan Harper the messiah that unlocked everything? Or was it bc Sochan played PG and they tanked with that?

Much like Indiana almost won a Championship with Haliburton last year, they made a run, they may win it all but will they repeat as well? Indy fell way off due to injuries....obviously the Spurs are projected as a much more talented team than Indiana was.

The Rockets are thinking the opposite with their idiotic braindead front office. It's not so easy drafting inside the top 4.

I know there are going to be NAYSAYERS but I think with the RIGHT MOVES, the Rockets are not too far from catching or surpassing the Spurs.

    1) Getting more size!

Rockets need big guards and a shot blocking center. You're not going to find another 7'5 center like Wemby but you can present length across the board to combat his size.

By having a backcourt of Giddy 6'7 and Thompson 6'8, frontcourt of KD 6'11, Jabari 6'11 and Ware 7'1, you take away the Spurs #1 strength.

    2) Obtain Giddy and Kel'el Ware. Both are on the trading block and I think the Rockets can get both.

    3) Trade one way players. Sengun and Reed are players who are limited at their positions. The Spurs have TWO WAY PLAYERS; Harper, Wemby, Vessell, Fox, Castle, players that play on both sides of the court.

    4) Don't just throw away DRAFT PICKS! There is always talent in the draft, just look at OKC's roster. They need to hit at #39 and #53 this yr

    C - Ware/Adams
    PF - Jabari/Tari
    SF - KD/FA
    SG - Thompson/FA
    PG - Giddy/FVV

Use both draft picks, Reed and Sengun as trade assets for Ware and Giddy
