I thought the recent NYT poll was interesting because it asks Trump voters if they want the next presidential nominee to be like Trump or different. A third want to move in a new direction, but you still even now have a majority of the base want more Trumpism. Ride or die! G.O.P. Im sure like Democrats did when they realized Biden was no longer a viable candidate, the Republicans will pressure Trump to exit after his term, and allow a new fresh face to emerge to lead the party.
I did note that even though more people disapprove of Trumps presidency than ever, that he doesn’t still have the lowest approval rating base, at least in comparison to Biden.
