Dude traded away Jarrett Allen because "he is not compatible to play alongside Wood", anything else you need to say?

Idk why Stone’s head is so big, because his brain is small

this man was handing Oladipo a new contract…that was the moment when I 100% realized that we are fcked

Because he's a lawyer with no background in player evaluation

He's a lawyer...lol, never was a video intern, scout, or player development...Just became GM became Fertitta main priority was to get profitable after buying the team!

Stone royally screwed up the rebuild. He squandered the picks from the harden trade and drafted poorly with the picks we did have. Now we are chained to KD just to stay somewhat relevant. I honestly think this is the most depressed I’ve ever been about the team. I can deal with losing if we are on the way somewhere. But I see no light at the end of the tunnel. This is a disaster.

Honestly those Covington/Woods trades were some of the worst ever in 19-20.

We need Pusch and Nguyen/Wynn to be the new lawyer GMs of this team tbh

Stone should quit relying on consensus draft gurus and start listening to clutchfans. Several of us have been screaming for Caruso for 2 years, last off-season we wanted NAW (most improved player). At the deadline we wanted Ayo. Now we want to trade KD and Sengun for role players and draft picks. Do it stone.

Prior to that, according to Hartenstein himself, he was waived because Stone didn't like him and the team wanted to sign someone named Chris Clemons

How would they have acquired Caruso in 24-25 at 20 mil a year? Also The numbers don’t work with Ayo who is a 3 month rental.

The better question is: Why is he hellbent on being a GM instead of a lawyer, that is his field of expertise.

Morey confided in him through the years as he was a part of the management team and he was involved in most if not all the deals including the Harden deal with OKC, which he negotiated. He was also promoted to GM by the Rockets organization. His management team operates in a similar way where all decisions are made with a decentralized structure.

We are gonna go star hunting to b "competitive" to cover up the fact that our young core is flawed

There have been quite a few lawyers-turned-GMs in the NBA. Hell, if I had the choice, I'd rather run around in NBA circles, eating good food (shout out to Landry's), and getting free tickets to games in the NBA while making millions. Damn the expertise.

Fair answer....haha. I feel that high stake lawyers are already pretty privileged individuals.
