Our best young guy would be at best the 4-5th guy on Spurs.

It’s also why we need to continue rebuilding through the draft.

We have had bad luck missing on Cunningham and Wemby, but we also passed on some really good players as well (Barnes/Mobley/Wagner/Williams/Castle).

Being honest, imagine the league sending Wemby to this dysfunctional mess we call an organization. Ime would have ruined him his rookie year.

 

We are not beating the Spurs as long as Wemby is playing so why try. Trade all our players and go cheap to save money year in year out

 

Bruh imagine our season was so bad , that now when we watch 2 GOOD teams it still depresses us about our team

I’d take the Mavs future over ours simply because they have Cooper Flagg and now Masai

SGA isn’t the goat really…. He is dealing with Harper/Castle/Wemby every time in the half court…. Harper and Castle (to an extent) are very physical and beat in him, and then SGA had to deal with a 10 foot human wall.

OKC is very well coached, full of high IQ players… they will do everything possible to make it easier for SGA, but outside of Jordan, no one is going to have good offensive numbers dealing with that.

 

I don't mind the league going after the best bball minds

But recruiting all those 9 footers does not make the league ooze with parity.....

I think the Mavs will overtake the Rockets next season. It’s gonna be tough being a Houston fan. It’s time for me to try to like soccer.

 

Dun worry about SGA, he is never a Gm 1 player, it is a bad habit but unlike Harden he gets better by each game.

But I really think the Spurs might or should win it, it is their time to be honest.

Just wish the league would not be so blatant about giving the Spurs everything.

Harper is going to be a monster - top 10 guy in the league. He is very young and short of elite competition, but has emerged in the playoffs and was making buckets in OT.

 

Amazing what a good GM and proper scouting and player development can do huh?

Yeah I think people are overreacting this game 1 definitely. OKC blew some chances at clenching the game, we'll see if they do that for the rest of the series.
