So glad Holmgren wasn't blinded by that swipe to his chin.

Harper tries too much. This is not an AS game.

Amen would be on a real contender, maybe he is not as great at ballhandling .....

Anyone would look better with a better organization.

This Spurs team seems so bad and yet they keep winning. Maybe the Wemby effect is real.

OKC had 3 big problems in the 1st half:

1 Rust. They don't look sharp at all. I think that's part of why they missed so many open 3s.

2 J-Dub's return has thrown their rotation and rhythm out of whack. IMO, Daigneault made it worse by playing 11 guys in the 1st half after the layoff. Yes, their roster is crazy deep, but they need cohesion and to find a groove more than anything else right now to get their offense out of the tank against an elite defense.

3 On the other end of the floor, they must push Victor away from the rim. They cannot let him catch the ball within 6-feet of the basket or a dunk will happen and they have to box him out because he destroyed them on the offensive glass. Dort is the guy who can easily push Victor around, but he's basically unplayable on offense right now.

On the Spurs side, they haven't played all that well either. The lead could be 17 instead of 7.

Come to think of it, I quickly got tired of the whole KD Archetype, 8 ft KD with Defense.....god darn it.

I mean NBA really. I'd rather root for 6'1 or 6'2 Reed Sheppard again. Incredible Cheat code though.

Remains to be seen bc the War is not won on Day 1 but Spurs surely have a big advantage and their Defense is real.

I trust Daigneault enough but yeah Wemby is a real problem for the entire league for decades to come.

Harper is a better fit than Fox, Fox' massive contract is that of Fred VanVleet, a mentor.

Working JayDub in is essential long term speaking, even if they do not need him, otherwise they might just trade his arse.

Dude has a like a 7'3 Wingspan, if you cannot integrate him, it is a waste of resources.

The Spurs still have to pay everyone, it is not that easy without a clear hierarchy after Wemby, Castle, Harper.
