Like I said, whatever Trump does is fine with him. He supports anything Trump says and does, and It doesn't matter how destructive, stupid, vindictive, corrupt, irresponsible, hateful, twisted, or wasteful it is. Cult mentality is a sad thing to watch.

I never want Iran to ever have a path to a nuke.

    Apparently you do.

Apparently you don't understand or have reading comprehension issues. I've said regardless of Trump I don't want Iran to get a nuke. This has nothing to do with Trump. This has to do with keeping Iran from ever getting a nuke.

In retrospect, do you think abandoning the nuclear deal with Iran during Trump’s first term increased or decreased their likelihood of developing nuclear weapons?

At this point, I expect a nuclear Iran over regular unleaded being under $3 again

    You know what you said.

You claimed you never wanted Iran to have a path to a nuke, and you acknowledged that the JCPOA prevented that path until it expired. Yet you supported Trump killing it, which means you effectively supported giving Iran a path to a nuke.

You can't reconcile that, but I will do it for you. You care more about defending what Trump did than about actually keeping Iran from getting a nuke. Killing the JCPOA and giving Iran that path was fine with you, as long as Trump did it.

That is what it looks like when someone is so deep in a cult that they cannot even see their own contradictions.

He will say that Iran couldn't be trusted to abide by the deal. Then he won't answer why they'll abide by any deal Trump makes and insist that they can't have a nuclear weapon (even though that is much more likely now as a result of this war). He'll then advocate for a regime change by any means necessary, but refuse to criticize Trump for currently pursuing a deal with untrustworthy Iranians.

    It's wild.

I think getting out of a bad deal was the right thing to do.

I certainly did, because I didn't expect Iran to honor the deal, which they obviously didn't since they were very close to having a nuke. They are liars and you trust them, I don't.

im baffled by this post - 1) you drive an EV and 2) youre perpetuating the problem by encouraging everyone to go out and get a resource they probably dont need, thus exacerbate the problem

They complied with the deal. This is a fact. They were not allowed to and did not get anywhere close to weapon-grade uranium until AFTER the deal was killed by Trump. This is another fact.

Nope. You simply are not understanding. No one trusted them, which is why everyone insisted on and got inspections to verify. That was in the deal. Trump took away those limits imposed on Iran and those inspections, and they did exactly what everyone said they would do: progress toward near weapon-grade uranium.

The problem here isn't that we trusted Iran, like you seem to think. No one did. The problem is that too many people, you included, blindly trusted Trump. He gave Iran the pathway to the bomb, lied, and now we are at war because of it. Trump lied, continues to lie, and you still trust him.

I have one EV car and one ICE truck.

If 40% of the usual automotive fluids are off the market, doesn't it make sense to do any delayed maintenance now before prices go up more? The truck is due for an oil change, so I might as well replace the transmission fluid and anything else that might need it in the near future when I go in because at this point, if I wait I'm probably paying more. I'm not the only one doing this calculus. You can't quickly and dramatically change the normal for Americans and then expect them to act like all is normal.

And to be clear, the problem was created and continues to be exacerbated by a disastrous war in the Middle East that's thrown the world economy into a spin, a war for which there is only one man to blame.

Not interested to have a discussion that's runs in circles ,but think of this :

Iran used to sell their Oil at 15$ per barrel. A fully loaded tanker generate roughly 30 millions $.

NOW , they can make 2,000,000 $ per pass/ship , roughly 1.5 Billion a Day and sell their Oil at fair market price ,Trump and his supporters can bluff all they want but anything else wont be accepted

Summer is here , time to park your saving in trusted assets before a spike in inflation never seen before creep over

How exactly does he think Trump is going to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon this time around?
Making a deal with someone you can't trust?

Or killing all Iranians (hint: this is what he wants)
