I'm not going back through all these posts, so if we have covered Who Do You Love? already, I apologize. First, the original by Bo Diddly in 1956: Next, we have two versions from 1963 by Ronnie Hawkins backed by Bo Diddly and playing with most of The Band members, including Levon Helm, Robbie Robertson, and Rick Danko. Here's the Quicksilver Messenger Service in 1968 with a 25-minute "jam" version, which is kind of crazy and worth listening all the way through at least once in your life. The Doors did it for a live album in 1970. It starts off with a cool drum solo. Finally, here's the version most of us are familiar with, the one by George Thorogood.
This thread doesn't move that fast, so stop by a bit more often. You are probably close enough in age to fit in with the Regulars. The Buskers - Street Performers that I post seldom get any love, but that hasn't discouraged me.
