Maybe he could play for the Comets next season. He would still be undersized, but he might have a fighting chance against the ladies. Although Caitlin Clark would abuse him.

Not with that tiny assed basketball the women use, Reed would never miss.

We should've known this would happen as soon as DD ran around calling him a generational shooter.

Kind of to be expected, with the worst coach in the league, no coherent offensive system, and almost no offensive talent besides him on the roster to generate quality looks for him you get nothing but low quality shot attempts which often leads to poor shooting percentages especially in a small sample.

It's why Reed is likely counting the days till he can get off this team and join a serious franchise that has a real head coach.

Derrick White did have a down year this year. Folks aren't sure if it's age or something else. With Tatum was mostly not on the court other teams could have their 2nd best defender on him.

He could have a bounce back next year. Even with a subpar shooting performance, if Celtics dangles White on the trade market, there'd be teams interested, even at his current contract.

Our entire starting lineup was below the red line.

It was obvious he had excellent court vision and passing chops coming out of college. His floor was a big guard who could be 1st team all defense, pressure the rim, and facilitate/run an offense. Honestly I was shocked Ime didn’t pound the table for him that summer. But hopefully Reed improves his handle. If Reed can develop handles like Castle he will be deadly.

castle is not overrated. He’s the best player from that draft. He’s really good. And Stone f#ck up the pick…because he’s a freaking lawyer and not a basketball guy. He should be fired for getting two top 3 picks wrong!

Cope. He is 2x the player Reed is, actually shooting better than Reed in playoff setting, and can defend and stay on court without gimmicks. True he has Wemby to help, but even when Wemby is out he looks far better than Reed. I'm out on Reed

That’s fine, but my statement has nothing to do with Reed

castle feasts with Wemby giving him wide open dunks. He couldn’t do squat on this rockets team

I don’t understand why people are making definitive statements about the two when Castle had more opportunities than Reed. He was given a starting position and played a ton of minutes without worrying about getting yanked for his mistakes. The Spurs were not trying to win and was awful with Wemby in and out of the lineup. Then they shut Fox down when Wemby went out permanently and Castle had full reigns of the team while Reed was sitting on the bench because the Rockets WERE trying to win and couldn’t afford for Reed to work through his mistakes.

This was Reed’s first year playing consistent minutes which still wasn’t as much as Castle’s. To make assumptions already about what type of player Reed is and to judge the draft pick this early is stupid.
