I would be willing to do a tip jar bet that Cam Boozer is a better basketball player in 5 years than Alperen Sengun. The others are riskier. But not that one.

I think Boozer is the ultimate high floor, potentially lower ceiling prospect. I don’t dismiss his potential but you still actually have to play the NBA games.

Not really a tip jar bet guy, but you can certainly copy this as your sig for posterity.

I think Cam Boozer will be overrated as a top pick and not a franchise savior. Maybe not Risacher bad but not a Paolo either. Somewhere in between

I think he will be much better than Paolo--but I've also always been very down on Paolo as a #1 option. Will be interesting to see who ends up being right about him, Boozer is a different prospect from what you normally see these days. I see him as a more efficient, true PF version of Sengun with a jump shot. I don't know if that's a superstar / MVP contender, but I think it's a top 10 player, a #1A or #1B who you can build a roster around.

You're fantasizing if you think the Rockets can get the #3 pick in this draft

You’re fantasizing if you think the Rockets “will” get a #3 pick in this draft. They certainly can If they sacrifice Sengun or Amen and a boatload of picks or a bunch of picks and eating an albatross contract like PG or Morant.

Exactly, I don't think many are hoping they do it. Just illustrating a path.

I can see that but I can also see like a smaller more explosive Tim Duncan-lite. Feel like he would fit on this team so well.

I think the top 3 picks in this draft are probably locks to be all-star or near all-star players within about 3 years. I don’t think any of them are franchise level like Cade, Wemby, and Flagg. I would certainly gamble Sengun and picks to get Boozer, even if I had to take back Morant. I wouldn’t sacrifice Sengun for anything less than a top 4 pick, unless it was multiple picks and a good young player. Or a near all-star player and a pick inside of the top 10. Outside of the top 4, i believe the rest of the draft has less of a ceiling than Sengun.

I think they could be around the level Cade is at right now, back end of the top 10 guys. (If Cade gets better than this, no.) That is the likely the ceiling for all of the top four guys IMO. Definitely not Wemby level.

I would certainly ask all of these teams about a Sengun + one or two future picks package. Maybe one of them is really high on them, who knows. I certainly don't expect to get that level of value back if we decide to trade him, though. More just a kick the tires type of situation, I expect.

It is highly possible one or more of Wagler, Acuff, Brown or Flemings is a better NBA player than Alperen Sengun.

Flemings specifically is what teams covet every draft cycle and rarely comes along. The last 3 level scorer that was similar athletically to Flemings was maybe Edwards and even then he isnt/wasnt the passer Flemings is. Brown and Acuff I think have more warts. Then theres Chris "holy **** 7-5 wingspan 6-11 without shoes" Cenac.

Cenac Jr should be obtainable in the mid-first round if we want him. GSW pick easily gets him I think. He's a guy I'd love to have as a developmental big behind Sengun. But more a guy to target if we pack KD up and ship him back to play with Steph and Donkey, than a guy I'd give up Sengun for.

I truly hate Wemby, if someone had similar talents and was not built like an eight legged arachnid.

Send the clippers Sengun and draft Acuff. Then trade KD and Fred for a stretch big(maybe Ware) plus assets. Get rid of Green, Tate, Holiday, and DFS. There’s way too much dead weight on the roster

I am not. Cam Boozer has a high floor but limited upside.

When I saw Boozer this year, I kept thinking that this is what a 25 year old NBA league average power forward would look like if you dropped him into a college game.

If the Rockets wanted to reboot, this year and next year would be the time to do it.

I would keep reed Sheppard. No way you over pay for Amen either. So you get rid of everyone for picks.

    26- 28 Reboot!!!!
    Move on from Udoka.
