I suggest you adopt him instead. Nobody wants him on the team except you.

Cam was a good pick and exactly the type of player a rebuilding team needs to go after.

Not Stone’s fault Cam couldn’t grow up.

Talented dumbasses rarely pan out... Like I can't think of a good example really. Cam makes Isaiah Rider seem disciplined. Maybe you could say Sprewell?

AI, although he never won a championship, so maybe he didn't pan out so well after all.

You aren't paying attention there have been tons of dumbass 19-20 year olds that have panned out, Kobe Bryant being the best example.

hmmm... Kobe seemed an overall intelligent guy to me, exceptionally so really. That's not to say he is a good person. Bad people can be, and often are, intelligent.

Ok, I could see it with AI... but Cam isn't THAT talented. I mean we're talking about Barkley's GOAT.

Cam is very smart, has a very high BBall IQ, his issue was he thought he way to playing time was just his offense, it isn't.

I'm a certified Kobe hater. Kobe was a lot of things, but dumbass was not one of them.

To me, players who don't understand what makes winning basketball and don't know what they need to work on to improve themselves as winning players are dumb. These traits don't seem to change when they grow older. Stromile Swift, Terrence Williams and Cam Whitmore (maybe Jalen Green too) are dumb in that sense. I don't know them personally so I have no idea whether they are intelligent people outside basketball.

The Cam ship has sailed. At the time I thought it was a mistake to ship him out because Stone THOUGHT he had built a team that was too deep, and wasn't worried about shooting like he should have been.

However the blood clot, and some previously atrocious performances to start the year in Washington made Stone look better than he should have looked.

Stone should instead be looking to the draft to get more Cam Whitmore type of talent, and go younger and hungrier on the bench to push the core rotation, add scoring, playmaking, and finally age out the back of the bench which really is made up of non-NBA players who are only there because Stone has failed to bring in enough young talent to develop.

Not sure Kobe is a good example but more than just being young and dumb, I think the right situations help as well.

JR Smith played a role on a championship team, Jordan Poole, Stephen Jackson...

I mean theres tons of guys who do low iq stuff on the basketball court and/or only focus on scoring who when put in good situations with good coaching were able to be valuable contributors.

Look at my prior posts, I was a huge stan of Cam when he was with the Rockets, but let's be honest DD, Cam is not the smartest tool in the shed! He's literally throwing away millions by not understanding that he is nowhere near being a superstar in the league to get away with playing only on one side of the court. The talent is there but he's lacking brain cells unfortunately...:(

Kobe is highly intelligent. Cam is a waste of talent and a complete dumbass. Everyone knows it. He was a coin flip draft pick by a terrible gm. I hope he recovers from his health issues as I've said but he's not an NBA player

Bro you are by far the dumbest poster on here still talking about California having less taxes than Texas after I already proved that wrong … then comparing Cam Freakin Whitmore to Kobe …. Kobe was one of the smartest/high iq players to ever play the game … he might have needed to mature some as an 18 year old!!!!! Geez your posts are so brain dead 95% of the time

Cam. Cam. I thought the Nets’ Cam would have been a reasonable pickup in February. Didn’t make it to April.

There’s something in a name, perhaps? Hmm???

Only DD haters are rooting against him, the rest of us recognize the immaturity and low bball IQ. He may just need a dose of reality and go overseas a few years, but the young man has waaaaay to big of an ego to only be role player in Europe. It's too bad, he has a ton physical gifts that would make him a really good player in the NBA.
