literally 1 contender year in the entire Harden era. 2019 team got owned by GSW missing players and injuries to KD and Steph.

I feel like there is no chance of this one way or another so it's kind of pointless discussing? Morey has his pros and cons as a GM, he's made massive mistakes and he's done a lot good stuff too. But whether you think he's a net positive or a net negative, there's no going back. If the Fertittas wanted him as GM they shouldn't have asked him to resign in the first place. It's done.

Fertita didnt ask him to resign. Morey bailed on him for the Sixers job. He resigned in October saying he wants to spend his time with his kids (already in college) and then became Philly GM in November.

As Harden said Morey is a liar.

Plus he sucked. Even if he is fired Philly still left with max contracts to Embiid and PG and they lose their pick to OKC. Oh and they sold high on Mccain lol.

Stone rebuilt the Rockets in the time it took Morey to waste Embiids prime and destroy the Sixers.

If Morey was asked to resign how he found a new job in a month? If he started applying after he got told to resign he would still need to interview, the owner would need to look at candidates etc

If Fertita was the one who fired Morey why would Fertita even have beef with Morey in the first place? lol Morey should be the one angry at Fertita for firing hik not the other way around.

Because he was Daryl f**king Morey at the peak of his hype/influence. He changed the game of basketball, for better or for worse. A lot of owners would jump on that. Philly did.

Narcissistic, greedy jerks gonna doing narcissistic, greedy jerk things. It's not that complicated.

What does being narcissistic and greedy have anything to do with this? Even if Fertita is greedy and narcissistic how does explain why Fertits is the one angry at Morey if he is the one who fired him?

"How dare you get fired by me?!?" lol wtf

Funny CF posters here want him back but havent seen any Sixer fan actually say firing Morey was a mistake. Wonder who actually knows more if he did a good job running the Sixers the actual Sixers fans or CF posters with an agenda against Stone.

We were the better team that series. Does everyone forget that Chris Paul went down before game 7? Sure, the missed threes didn’t help. But the untimely injury screwed us the most.

This is my take. Morey is light years ahead of Nepo-Ferntits & Stone.

    @DrNuegebauer

The rockets do NOT pkay moreyball. The rockets play “nepo ball” or “ima lawyer but i can be GM ball”.

The rockets failed at the rebuild with Ferntits & son / Stone.

    UTTER LEAGUE-WIDE FAILURE

ROCKETS ARE A BUNCH OF PAYCHECK COLLECTORS. NOTHING MORE.

MOREY can better fix this than our clown front office.

But egos will not allow this to happen.

if he didn't trade Mccain would the sixers have avoided the sweep and Morey still have a job?

Yeah drafting really good players isn't what I want either.
