ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 5/1/2026 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 6)

Great stuff.

 

I was thinking about Amen getting kicked out in the first round a second time in a row and if it happens again he may become unhappy seeing his brother on a successful team. If the Rockets ride out this 6 year extension they gave Ime and it’s the same old crap every year, they may be losing more than just the fans….

 

I definitely feel Detroit have a better chance of having the real "Terror Twins" as their defensive specialist guys. Why would you want to come to us when you could go there with a legit star player and a much better supporting cast and coach?

 

The Lakers are hot trash against OKC.

It tells Rockets are more hot trash.

I feel so frustrated as long as it comes to my mind that the fools Ime and Stone are still in Rockets next season.

If the Rockets wanted to seriously try to compete they need a drastic change of direction.

If Fred is their major off-season addition Im just not going to waste my time with them.

 

They aren't just trash... they are stupid too. Can't take them serious.

 

I can’t wait until next season when we only add Fred and Adams back and we look so much better. Hopefully all the quitting fans who said they’d refuse to tune in if we didn’t fire this guy, or trade that guy, hopefully they stick to their word. We don’t need fake fans who only watch when they think we have a dominant team. Real fans complain but suffer through whatever product is on the floor.

 

Lmao yah the Rockets needs two broken players to finally become great and do something in the playoffs. Wake up from your fantasy. I hope they do better, but I highly doubt they will. I'll be here to suffer with you next season though.

 

They don’t need to be great. Fred was never great. Nor was Adams, outside of rebounding. They’re complementary pieces that we desperately lacked all season (in FVV case). Literally nobody on the team has trustworthy handles.

 

Like... how many are legit persons on and off the court? David Robinson? Post-80s Hakeem?

 

That's like putting faith in a post-injury year Lance McCullers... or post-microfracture surgery Tracy McGrady...
