I want to help Memphis out. I really feel for their fans. I'm willing to accept them dumping on us Ja Morant for just the #3 pick and #16 pick. I will give them Locker Room Poison, I mean, Durant.

I know, I know, what am I thinking. I guess I'm just a good guy at heart ya know?

What do you mean? Reed has several dunks showing his vert. Its not 42 inches but I think its high enough.

How is standing reach relevant? I guess when contesting shots you can raise your hands higher? I dont think thats Reeds biggest problem its more of bad D fundamentals resulting in him always getting blown by.

I’m all for trading KD to GSW for the 11th pick in this upcoming draft. The Rockets may not want to trade him, but KD might agree to join them if they can add another piece. The Clippers have no need for him or for Sengun.

That is exactly why....you take the Playoffs as a lesson for young ones to learn and not for Udoka to mistrust anyone that is younger than 26.

I feel like the Clippers could really use Sengun. He’s young and they need a replacement for Zub. But no matter what, we have to maximize the return we get on Sengun if we trade him. You don’t sell low on a 2-time 23yr old all star. Sadly I don’t think we have the front office to pull this off. I think the clips are gonna try to compete while they rebuilding. And the bpa’s at #5 are not good fits with Garland. That #5 is gonna be traded. Just depends on who it’s going to. If I’m honest with myself I don’t see the rockets getting involved. But they should. We need another guard prospect besides Reed. It’s very possible Reed is not the guy. This is the rare draft where BPA at #5 or #6 is gonna be a position of need for us.

The only sure things in this draft are Dybansta, Boozer, Peterson, and maybe Wilson. It’s a deep draft, but after those 4 you are probably looking at more of a crap shoot. The player at 5 certainly has a greater upside than Reed, but not for sure better than Sengun. There’s a good chance, Sengun is more like his first month of the season than he was the rest of the season. I think his performance this season was a combination of too much off-season play, nagging injuries, poor coaching, and a bad fit with Durant than long-term regression. If you can get into the top 3 with Sengun and draft picks that would be worth the gamble.

You don't think having a standing reach of somebody 5'10 effects defense when you're playing against players with the standing reach of somebody who's actually 6'4 or above?

I think they would certainly trade the pick for the right price. But do the Rockets really have what they want? So far the consensus is that the 2027 draft sucks. So presumably giving them their 2027 pick back wouldn't move the needle that much. After that are you thinking Jabari or even Amen? I don't think Stone would trade either one, even if I personally would trade Jabari. But then I've always been much lower on Jabari than this board or the Rockets brass. But I'm not sure Brooklyn would take Jabari and 2027 pick. Neither looks to be star quality and they desperately need a star.

Hell, they might take just Jabari. If their pick was 4 or above they probably wouldn’t.

We need to approach the Nets and gauge their interest in Sengun for that pick back. Darius Acuff Jr needs to be on this team next year. He has franchise player potential. Trade Fred’s trash ass and give the young man the keys. Trade KD too, we are not a contending team rn so stop star chasing and build this team the right way for once. It’s time invest in a real pg prospect with star potential.

    I would take Flemings too.

And bashed his teammates, was a turnover machine especially in the clutch, is turning 38 after missing the playoffs with an injury. Hell yes, dump his sorry ass asap.

Kobe and MJ bashed their teammates all the time.

We would have been in the lotto without him and give our pick to OKC.

KD wants to play for a contender imo. Houston is not the team for him.

Trevon Brazile should be considered with the 39th pick.
I don’t think the Rockets can acquire a 2026 lottery pick, apart from trading KD and the Nets 2027 1st round pick.

my hope is that he sees Harden got a chance at a chip for jumping ship so unceremoniously and feels like he needs to do the same thing.

    If I were GM:

    knock knock

    me: who’s there?

    KD: Kevin

    me: come in.

KD: I think I need to do what’s best for me and play on a contending team. You guys are young and just too far away.

Me: (peeing myself with excitement). Well Kev, I respect your decision. We’ll work with you and your people to get u to the right situation. But you can’t pull that bullsh#t we did with the Suns and reject playing for contending teams in cold weather.

The only contenders are OKC and SAS. KD is in the best possible team that can afford him and still have talent around him.
