Crazy when you see some of these guard measurements and consider even with Reed almost certainly tanking his standing reach to fake that 42 inch vertical that never appeared in a single game ever, he's still so undersized. It really does make a lot more sense how small he seems despite not actually being that short overall (nearly 6'2 barefoot and 6'3 in shoes.)
I'm just glad we have our 5th Nets pick. Kingston Flemings is our Shai MVP franchise player. In Stone we trust.
Well Acuff is seen as top 5 material and he is 6'2. I really think NBA guards 6'2 and below are losing a lot of value. They just massive holes defensively
The only significant diff is on the wingspan , Reed has Trex arms unfortunately. However I dont see the 0.25 height diff to be a deal breaker.
It's not just the wingspan, standing reach is significantly different, and that definitely does have an impact when Reed's "42 inch vert" never actually materialises in game. Reed's measurements outside of height are closer to the 5'10 dude posted in the upcoming draft than the other 6'2 guards...
We have our two 2nds and I want us to package to move up to early 2nd or late 1st for Sergio de Larrea. 6' 7" 20.5 year old combo guard who looks really good. Only rated lower because he's going to be 21 but... I prefer that with Ime's reluctance to play young players anyway. This guy has been a pro for several years now and should be more accustomed to a professional environment. Really good PnR player and high IQ. Was super efficient in Spain and Euros which could even be better with more space in the NBA. Athletic limitations despite height due to quickness issues. I'm thinking the high IQ and scheme could make up for that. I think he is super underrated and a steal anywhere from 25-35 so pick 39 won't get it done. Gonna need to package 39 and 53 to try and move up a few spots. Fingers crossed!!!
I'm not if that's worse than the Wemby one or not. The Wemby one really gave me a dislike of him when he reacted being happy it wasn't us. But that's kinda brutal that he actually cried over it. I'm assuming he wanted Utah? (Though I still don't get it.)
An A.I. Joke. . AJ is a chill dude. As far as tanking teams, I'm low key tracking the Wiz to see how they could flip their fortune in the next few yeras.
Future lottery changes haven't even been voted on yet, so that's just a guess based upon what's been proposed. Nothing has been finalized yet.
GSW would be advised to not do it.......as last time KD took a significant paycut to sign and win FMVPs...... Now giving up a 11th pick for a 38 year old......that has to be a worse GM than Stone.... Straight up Butler for KD at best.
