Steve Jobs died because his ego was so large he thought he could willpower his way past pancreatic cancer. If he is the best of California, he is also simultaneously the worst of California. I get that pointing out his flaws isn't Newsom's job, and this comment is kind of superfluous, but people with egos like that are kind of a personal annoyance. I'm pro-Newsom, but I also think Steve Jobs was kind of not a role model. He was kind of the jumping-off point that brought us repulsive egomaniacs like Peter Thiel and Elon Musk.
