Definitely! Ive been saying that since the end of the yr. The Rockets have to make some trades! Staying still with Sengun as a possible #1 or #2 option is BASKETBALL MALPRACTICE

You have to keep KD, because his shooting is unmatched and you have to keep Amen, because his athleticism and defense is unmatched.

Outside of that, the only player I would keep is Jabari because he showed growth as a two way player last yr. Other than that.....THAT'S IT

that's fine because now with the lotto odds being a middling team will be our best chance to get a high draft pick. Stone is playing 4d chess

I'm definitely talking to them about #2 / Ace Bailey / Keyonte George / Walker Kessler this offseason, seeing if Ainge has any interest in moving the timeline forward a bit; Sengun would be a decent fit on their roster. I also might consider trading KD for Lauri straight-up if they'd be interested in moving on from him.

You most certainly do not "have" to keep KD.

Triple j has always been highly inconsistent and underachieving. Markannen plays zero defense for a big. George has shown flashes but so what? Collectively it takes a lot of chemistry and identity to win and growth takes a while. If they’re going to play well i expect at least 2 years to contend.

I would do Ace Bailey, Kessler and a future #1 for Sengun

Mate, based on your posting history you'd do a fuzzy Jolly Rancher and some pocket lint for Sengun, the Jazz definitely wouldn't do that trade though.

If you’re comparing talent, Utah has already surpassed Houston. Whether they learn how to translate it to an NBA game is the only question.

Maybe they’ll screw it up like the Rockets did.

Over value the slow shooting 4’s Lauri and JJJ. put together a slow team that specializes in beating bad teams but can’t compete with the good teams speed and comfort with ball.

Judge Peterson, Bailey, and George entirely on their TS%, how many mistakes they make, and if they prove to be a #1 on a championship team by the time they are 22 years old.

Slowly trade away all your athletes and advantage creators.

They're going to have some defensive issues there in Utah - but they'll score lots!

Interesting to see how they go this season.

KD would just retire rather than play for the Jazz. He and Russ dealt w a lot of racist fans over the years there and have been vocal about it. KD will go somewhere he wants to play, or he will just sit out.

Assuming Adams and Clint are returning, how about Sengun for Filipowski and the #2 pick?

You're forgetting that it's only Rockets fans who think Alpi (or Amen for that matter) is a future top 10 player, they'd laugh in Stone's face.

OKC, SA clearly above the Rockets

LAL will be ahead of the Rockets when LBJ moves on, some other star will go there.

    Minnesota? For sure.

Denver? Possibly not. They look like they are taking a step back.

Dallas? Have a 19 year old franchise player and just established an excellent front office… I think they pass up the Rockets most likely.

Utah? Portland? - Not now, but possibly later?

That puts the Rockets like 5-7th in the West in a 7 game series.

Maybe LAL Minnesota stumble and Rockets are 4th best.

Either way, this Rockets organization really struggles at identifying talent and developing it. They over estimated their own talent level and stopped rebuilding too soon.

Serious issues for an organization when you struggle identifying and developing talent.

Everyone is passing us up. We have a front office that won't upgrade because they don't want to offend players.

We also have a coach that destroys development. Everyone got worse
