Correct if pacers get the top 4 pick clippers get their 2031 pick. I want the pacers to keep their pick tbh.
I’m gonna try and compartmentalize my frustration today. But I just have to say: sitting out back to back drafts when you are still rebuilding is malpractice. Absolute incompetence. I can’t believe this is the 2nd yr without a 1st round pick. We are nowhere near good enough to be doing that. Upsets me beyond words.
I knew from Vampire the Masquerade that them bloodsuckers be manipulating everything behind the scenes, I never expected one to do it so out in the open like the last few years.
Playoff teams aren’t rebuilding…. We’ve been developing multiple first round picks for multiple years now. What’s hurt a bit is the lack of second rounders coming through the pipeline. Maybe we trade into the draft. Most certainly we play the results of the draft if they are not in our favor.
Unfortunately we are not one of the top tier teams… Unfortunately we traded for WB with OKC and this is the last year we are giving up a pick…. But let’s not pretend we didn’t get more picks by trading out and hedging against two others teams. There was a reason for it.
We can still trade in. BKN would have most likely not tanked if we never did the trade and 2 years ago no one was saying this was a Wemby level draft. Last year we got the 10th pick instead of the 8th. You are very results oriented and I am process oriented.
I could see them moving up from 39 to 33 or something marginal like that. Early 2nds are better value than late first anyway
2 things i'm watching for I fear GSW will get a top pick. They will get Giannis with that pick. Which i guess is fine, Rockets aren't contending anyways. I fear BKN will get a top pick. That will be heart break for obv reason.Anyone who thinks BKN had a choice of tanking or not is funny. They gifted us pick #3 already. They didn't have an avenue to compete until we gifted them their mistake back. Dallas getting a top pick would sting too obv. I hate stone for trading out of this generational draft.

Why did the rockets give back Brooklyn’s picks? What did the rockets get out of it? This is a deep draft. They could’ve drafted an all star with the 7th-8th pick.
