you’re making a forgone conclusion that Udoka’s stint with the Rockets will be worse than JVG’s or that his coaching career will be worse than these guys considering he’s been a head coach in less years. The very thing you hate you practice yourself

Unless you're an offensively-challenged wing player, you'd be insane to join the Rockets. His inept coaching is gonna cost several of our guys countless millions of dollars. Reed is eligible for an extension next summer, but he's gonna be in a horrible bargaining position if he has to suffer through another year of 10-15 minutes a night while backing up an aging Fred VanVleet. Jabari got paid half of what Chet and Paolo got(some of that is his fault, but I think he could thrive in a much more coherent offensive system). Tari's struggles were likely mostly mental, but it didn't help that he started nearly a quarter of the season alongside the Core Four and that lineup went a mediocre 10-9 since it featured no guards and limited ballhandling and shooting. Maybe he gets some good offers this summer, but I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up with no better than a DFS-type contract.
