Yeah I've got WAY more #13 jerseys than any other, but I wear my #34 jerseys more often than any other and it's really not close. Just a timeless classic, I hope they don't screw up these new jerseys next season.

 

You are pretty close to how it actually happened. Les hired a Broadway costume designer to make the uniforms. She created the R as a placeholder for a real logo since that wasn’t her job. Les liked it and is cheap, so he didn’t have to pay a graphic designer for a real logo.

I can’t believe that crappy R has lasted through another owner.

 

The old school logo should be the ball he’s dunking.

That, or like the NBA logo that clearly shows Jerry West without showing Jerry West, perhaps this,
(With all of Dream’s right leg, of course). It would clearly be Hakeem without clearly showing the great man, if you get my drift.

I like this. Use the silhouette just after release and make the ball a different color. Then Hakeem's silhouette resembles an H.
