Both Lakers and Rockets played better than in February......ramped up .....

Lakers just got so much better defensively over the course of 1 month.

Terminally online people believe internet narratives and form generalized opinions on more successful people to feel comfortable with their mediocrity.

 

Since when do you have to know somebody personally to be able to tell that they suck? You can Google for yourself "Anthony Edwards controversies" and see some of the stuff that he's said and done off the court. In any case, I'm not interested in getting into one of these stupid conversations where people white knight for a wealthy celebrity online and be like "you can't prove it, free speech" and so on. It's really not that important, so let's just leave it there.

in real life suggests you know the person IN REAL LIFE. I guess I should have asked what makes him horrible because thats really what I wanted to know. Horrible is a harsh word and I dont remember hearing anything horrible about him other than he has a lot of kids which I honestly dont know if its true or a joke.

 

Okay, sorry for the overreaction. I've just hit these little landmines a couple times with other posters.

This isn't proven/confirmed, but there was a claim he pressured a woman into having an abortion. He definitely used homophobic slurs online. A couple other things I think. Oh, and there was that one chair-throwing incident (accidentally hit a fan with a folding chair that he threw when pissed off on the court) that suggests some anger management issues, lol.

 

When is Game 7 guys?

 

Rockets don't have a half court set. No plan at all. A polished team, like every other team, has a offensive game plan.

 

Be ironic if all the CF people's fantasies about Amen and Ausar playing together came true, but it was Amen requesting a trade to the better team...

 

The 2 game offensive run was "suspect" to begin with. The weak finishes at the rim alone for the Rockets is what gives ammo to those that compare 90s and early 2000s NBA superiority debates. Never seen a weaker finishing at the rim team ever. Those points would easily be erased in the 2000s.

 

Maybe because their two worst defenders Luka and Reaves were injured.

 

Any way we can trade JJ for Ime?

Mixed bag. Durant will be over his injuries by that point but potentially at the end of his prime.
